This is the second location I’ve eaten at. Very good. Good old school Cafe. My granddaughter said the butcher block cheeseburger was the best she’s ever had. The Patty melt couldn’t have had a little more cheese on it but it was very good My son had the chicken tenders and he said they were good. The soup they had that day was bean and rice or something very good

Food was just OK. Our server was wonderful. The atmosphere is awful. The charge for sharing was ridiculous. Spent $26 +5 dollar tip for one Roundhouse, a diet coke and a cup of coffee

Perfect place to start the day with good old fashioned diner food and breakfast plates. Portions were plentiful and everything was made from scratch

They have been serving happiness since 1979 and the interior is exactly how I remember diners being when I was a kid and went with grandpa to get some breakfast.

The staff were friendly and attentive and the coffee was hot and fresh. There is a nice outside seating area in the shade for breakfast. The owner was out water all the flowers while we ate our breakfast.

This is a traditional old school diner. Like i mean ol skool. Ol skool type food, vibe, everything. Food wast amazing but was still great ol skool once again simple homemade recipes. The waitresswas super engaging and nice, she remembered names and all the good stuff. Only complait is there togo boxes get soggy. This place is truly nostalgic! Highly recommend!

This place isn’t bad, but if you never go here you’re not missing much.

Out of all the stuff I had, the hash browns was the most unique item. It wasn’t super amazing, but it was pretty good. I have eaten at a decent amount of breakfast places and have never had hash browns like these. They almost have a mashed potato quality to them; mushy and chunky on the inside and crunchy on the outside. I would recommend trying them and making your own decision on them, but I think the concept works.

The pancakes are pretty standard but taste good. Mine came out fluffy with a slightly burnt texture to it, which I prefer. I did, however, prefer the French toast at this restaurant to the pancakes. It was just a little bit fluffier and sweeter. The toast was thick cut so it was slightly crispier on the outside and soft on the inside.

The biscuits and gravy are very basic here. I wouldn’t recommend them at all. It wasn’t terrible, but it just didn’t stand out in any way. In my opinion, you are wasting your money if you buy the ones here. Good gravy will have chunks of meat and seasonings in it, and this one was generic, plain gravy. More than likely from can to the warmer.

The polish sausage was good but again pretty generic. They did cut the link in thirds and put the inside part on a flat top so it came out seared a decent amount, though.

The cinnamon roll was really sweet. It looks really good in the picture I took, but in reality it wasn’t that special. It was a little tough and I had to muscle my way around with a fork to break it apart. It wasn’t too bad, but I wouldn’t get it again.

Butcher Block Cafe is one of those hidden gems that feels like home the second you walk in. I stopped in for breakfast and was not disappointed. The biscuits and gravy were exactly what you’d hope for—rich, hearty, and clearly made with love. The hash browns were crispy, the coffee was hot and strong, and the staff made everyone feel like a regular.bIt’s got that old-school diner atmosphere—nothing fancy, just good food, friendly service, and a welcoming vibe. If you’re looking for a place to slow down and enjoy a classic American breakfast (or lunch), this is it.
Highly recommend if you’re into comfort food, big portions, and supporting local spots that still do things the old-fashioned way.

Coffee was great. Super an omelet was amazing. I’m gluten free and it was perfect. Had a side of chorizo as well. Amazing. Food was out super fast. Service was very polite.

The food was decent, but the only reason I’m writing this review is because of what the waitress did. She charged me $60.00 for a meal that was originally $40.00. This lady tipped herself $20.00, then had the audacity to give me only $9.87 back when confronted about the issue. It is very unprofessional and rude to steal. If you wanted a tip, you should’ve refilled my drinks instead of chitchatting. ‍♀️

We tried the butcher block today and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was as ordered and they allowed us to substitute things that we did not care for. The price is definitely right and the waitress we had was absolutely wonderful. We will be going back.
