I ordered a chicken enchilada, expecting something good, considering the locals all spoke highly of the place. However, when I got it, everything was covered in shredded cheese, the corn tortillas were soggy and felt like wet sand, and the chicken was not only shredded to oblivion, but it had no seasoning aside from some pepper (table variety). I almost cried in front of my family (since I have various emotional disorders that make the smallest things feel massive or upsetting). I had been begging for some good food after about a week and a half of traveling in a car and living off of fast food and being sick for a majority of the trip, only to order something I usually enjoy at other places, and be immediately disappointed. I ended up having to finish my grandmother’s senior meal, since she couldn’t finish hers, and left both still hungry, and no longer happy. As I write this, I am also holding back from a breakdown, as the whole time, I was being glared at by my cousin who kept telling me to just eat what I ordered. (I couldn’t! I have so many sensory issues, and the soggy sandy corn tortillas made me uncomfortable and I could hardly swallow it without gagging.)
On a good note however, the chicken and gravy are very good, though, it makes me wonder why the chicken tenders tasted good, while the shredded chicken tasted… well, like dissapointment.

Better than your average small town diner. Food was quite good. Place clean. Waitresses were struggling a bit to keep up. Very popular on the weekends. Definitely go back.

We have lived in the valley for 40 years. This was out first time in.. IT WONT BE OUR LAST.. I had the breakfast burrito which was one of the BEST I have ever had. Wife had the enchilada plate. She is a Santa Fe native and she said it ranked right up there with anything from SF. If you are in Olathe GO, you wont be sorry.

Always like to return to the B&C when back in town. Some of the best mexican food for a traditional restaurant. Their homemade chips and salsa are yummy and the green chile smothering my burrito is what keeps me coming back. Oh and the friendly small town atmosphere and where everyone knows someone in the place — LOVE IT!!!
