I recently stopped by Busy Bee Pizza & Subs in Amesbury for a quick lunch and was seriously impressed. I got their Super Busy Bee pizza, and the crust was perfectly crispy with fresh, generous toppings that made every bite delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient, even during a busy rush. It’s a great spot for solid, affordable takeout—definitely my new go-to for pizza in town!

I was happy to find Busy Bee because they offer gluten free subs. I ordered a gluten free meatball sub, which had gluten free bread and meatballs. It was a good sandwich. My partner enjoyed his regular meatball sub as well!
The shop is small, but there’s room to sit and eat. The bathroom was out of order when we visited. The staff member who was working was friendly and helpful.

Ordered two pizzas to the tune the total of $47. Which, whatever food is expensive as hell right now. However, one would think that the cheese on the large pizza would be melted at the very least. We ordered a LG buffalo chicken finger pizza with feta, this is what we have ordered several times and it’s always been decent. Not tonight. The small cheese was fine, hence the two stars, but the lack of accountability from the owner is why I am writing. I don’t often write bad reviews, but when the owner of the establishment argues with the customer, that’s an issue. Be warned, and if ordering a “gourmet” pizza, ask for it well done.

I order a lot of gluten free food from Busy Bee. The pizza is always great and crust is crispy. Chicken fingers are tasty, seasoned, and crispy. All the subs and sandwiches I’ve had are awesome. The prices are good and the service is wonderful. Delivery is always fast and always nice! I order from here all the time and haven’t had a bad experience.

Sorry to say but The only thing good about this place was the nice delivery guy. They don’t have paper menus the menu is online which would be fine BUT……it’s not very clear, the prices you get charged are not what is says online and it’s unclear the way it’s written. I order a fisherman Platter which came with tons of unnecessary fries, 3 or 4 scallops and shrimp, a few clam strips and 4 onion rings (for 24$ mind you )
I also ordered a roast beef on a bulky roll. I asked if the roast beef was rare and was told yes…. When it arrived it was not rare and the bulky roll wasn’t soft. So needless to say after spending 35$ I was a unsatisfied customer who won’t be returning

Menu can be a bit confusing, but they do great gyros and their fries are never greasy. I haven’t tried their pizza, so I can’t comment on that. Classic hole-in-the-wall shop: not much on ambiance but we’ve never had a bad meal here.

I just placed an order with them through Doordash and we were checked the app 30 minutes afterwards to check on the status….. they still haven’t even started our order and I called them to ask about our order.
The gentlemen replied, “we haven’t started it yet.”
I didn’t need to hear anything else after that. I just canceled the order and wasted half an hour waiting for nothing.
This restaurant seriously needs more employees or better equipment to get orders out at a timely manner.
Didn’t get to taste their food and not interested in giving them another chance.
I don’t think it’s worth anyone’s time to order and waiting an unreasonable time. What I ordered was a cheeseburger, fries, pasta and a drink. I don’t understand why it should take them long to even prepare that? Let a lone even start it!!!!! They couldn’t even start working on it for those 30 minutes we placed the order.
