In December of 1995, Robert RJ Vernsey and his son Terry opened Buster’s Sports Bar & Restaurant to serve Ogdensburg, visitors to the area, and our Canadian neighbors. Busters Is Home Of The Best Salad Bar In The North Country! With the freshest vegetables, fruits and salad fixings this side of the St. Lawrence River – Buster’s Salad Bar boasts twenty feet of mouth-watering, good-to-eat food! The most delicious chicken in Northern New York, fresh homemade and affordable tasty chicken zings. the staff are very polite and professional service was fast. Food was very affordable and the restaurant was clean and sanitized. Great location to stop for food before entering Canada, you won’t get food this good there.

You go here for the loaded fries not the atmosphere. And the loaded fries were delicious as always. Our waitress was amazing wish I remembered her name. She was slammed with and end of shift rush but she was attentive and efficient.

The entree we wanted was sold out, so might have had a different opinion if it was available, but ordered the buffalo chicken quesadilla, instead. It was prepared incorrectly (no buffalo sauce to be found). The waitress did give us a discount, which was very nice. Our daughter did not like the food at all, and I was very underwhelmed.

Stopped in after fishing 3 of us we all ordered the seafood dinner 2 had fried 1 had broiled the scallops we to tuff and tasted funny each of us only took one bite out of it. We ate the fish and shrimp. Hopefully we don’t end up sick.Serever was ok. Salad bar was nice

Excellent food!!! I absolutely love the salad bar! They are hard to find these days. I love our waitress Jewels she was an absolute doll!! The staff was very friendly! I would for sure come here again! (It’s saved for the future!)

We are visiting the area, so we needed a place to eat. We happened by busters and gave it a try. Glad we did. We were seated right away. Drink order was taken just as fast. We tried the reuben nachos . If we lived here, I would order again. I also ordered the reuben…. sensing a theme here? lol. Plates are hot, as are the fries. My reuben was delish. Hubby’s burger was cooked exactly how he asked it to be. Yes it’s a sports bar. But I think you can also bring the family here.

When a quick cross border shopping visit to Ogdensburg New York happens of course we stopped at Buster’s. This sports oriented restaurant features a 20 foot long salad bar with all the fixings, nice big tables, friendly staff, and excellent prices. They even have an aquarium, many TVs, and even table lottery service with draws every few minutes. If you find yourself here, try the British Burger and fries. This bacon cheeseburger was hot tasty, and perfect size. The walls are covered in sports memorabilia everywhere you looked.
