First experience at the 31st location. Haven’t had Bush’s in a while. It looked way cleaner and more kept up with on the inside vs the outside. Definitely a relaxing place to enjoy a quick meal. They have 2 tvs in the lobby with the games on. My 4pc meal with an extra side came out to around $15.00. The mashed potatoes with gravy was really good. The service was friendly and quick.

First time ordering and eating the food was a disappointment. The chicken seem like it was cooked the day prior and reheated or fried again the next business day. ( made me sick ) the mac and cheese smells slightly spoiled, and Cheese sauce WATERY.

My son and my husband love Bush’s. We always get the chicken strips, which are cooked just right, juicy with a crispy breading. I prefer a little more seasoning, but the Bush baby sauce makes up for that. The employees at this location were especially friendly, and there was not a long wait. It was delicious!

I went to Bushes Chicken today and the chicken tenders were lukewarm. I ask the attendants for fresh chicken tenders and I waited. They return and assured me that the chicken was fresh it was not, the only thing hot were the fries. I proceeded to call and asked for the manager and both the assistant and the manager told me that there was nothing that they could or would do about the lukewarm chicken. I asked for a corporate phone number and was told their is no longer corporate accounting or availability to speak to anyone in the corporate office. The manger name is Jesus and he proceeded to hang up the phone as I was asking about accountability and quality. If I were able to return this order I would have gladly done so as it stands the trash will have my 6 piece lukewarm tender meal with missing gravy and super sweet tea. I also requested unsweetened tea and received turbo sweet tea!

For me, this is the Best place for liver. Staff very friendly, bathrooms are very clean. For all those veterans out there, you also get a military discount. update March 5, 2023. The only things that has changed is always much better. Continuing to be the best chicken in Temple. Always a 5 ⭐ rating. I recommend this restaurant. Update: 21 May, 2023. Sunday afternoon delight. Enjoying the food, chicken and great service. Never do I see this restaurant fumble. They are consistently getting better and better. Update: 16 August, 2023. Very hot outside. Definitely did not want to cook. Wanted some good chicken strips. So here is where I go. Always great food and service is fantastic. Very clean area along with the nice A/C to keep cool while eating. This small chicken n restaurant is always good for a quick bite. I recommend this place.

Love this location. The Liver and Gizzards Combo is absolutely the best value for the price. They will cook them hot and fresh for you if you like . The rolls are always soft and warm. The Sweet Tea is….well, Perfect! Sometimes, it does get a little busy, but, with 3 drive-thru lanes and more than enough Staff…you usually don’t have to wait very long. And….the restroom is always clean!

Ordered a chicken tender plate with a side of okra and a large sweet tea. Very good portions and their tea is one of the best I have tasted. Will visit again, staff was also very friendly as well. Fast service! Special thanks to the assistant manager Ben, he did a great job going over the menu options with me.

I loved my Fried chicken livers! So seldom to find them at all, much less good ones! And the plate of 8, gave us 3-4 meals? Yum! Parents not so thrilled with their chicken… wasn’t cooked enough for them. But Sweet Iced Tea! Yum! I’ll go back!
