Got home to eat my ice. It was a long piece of hair when I took off the top . I called them to let them know lady the manager had an attitude asking me to bring a cup back up there so she can see the hair like she doesn’t believe me. I will never eat there again or drink . I’m trying to explain to her that it’s raining and storming and she still wants me to bring a cup with a piece of hair instead of her saying just come back another day for a free cup of tea .I will be calling back asking for another manager, cause she’s just rude. I just boycotted this location, possibly all Bushes if they follow the same policy. Either way I use to spend hundreds of dollars a year here and I will never spend another penny.
I ALWAYS order the same exact thing. A 4 piece chicken strip with an extra side of gravy. I don’t want a drink, just put in some extra chicken strips. They usually put in about 4 extra chicken, which is the ONLY thing that makes their ever increasing prices remotely worth it.
Today the kid that took my order said “I can’t put in extra check, I will get in trouble.” Now he didn’t say “I think I will get in trouble”. He stated as a matter of fact that he has been informed that giving extra chicken will get him in trouble. So either their corporate policy changed or this specific location change. Either way that was the straw that broke the Camel’s back. I canceled my order and left.
I can’t imagine anyone from Bushes or even from this location will ever read this review or care but just in case you do you need to understand that a mass wave of people are beginning to boycott fast food. You keep making portions smaller while increasing prices and you think we are too stupid to notice. You change policies that kept loyal customers for years driving them away FOREVER. And yet you think your business will just continue on forever.
Campbell soup and McDonalds are already in serious trouble over their recent exposures. How long do you think it will take before there is a social media event based on Bushes vanishing customer service and overpriced micro meals.

I rarely write reviews, but I just can’t with Bushes anymore. Definitely the last time I try to give Bushes the benefit of a doubt. They used to be so good, good quality. Tenders that were not as slim as my index finger. But now they just suck! Every single one. Their prices increased every year due to inflation of course but you would think they would keep their quality. So overhyped, overpriced for the product you receive. Every single tender was the size of my finger, tough, and just awful. What the hell happened to you guys!?!?? We used to love it. I refuse to waste anymore money. Lanes doesn’t have gravy but I’d rather have chicken that is an actual tender and not tendon like and sacrifice the gravy. Super disappointed especially since Waco is where it started with the Bush family. Y’all have definitely lost the passion for your brand over the years than when yall first started and into the early 2000’s. It’s definitely obvious it’s corporate now and no more family owned passion.

Unfortunately today after arriving home we found that the majority of our chicken tenders were visibly undercooked. I’m very displeased that money was wasted on food we could not eat. I am not usually one to complain but the chicken was very clearly still raw. I’ve never seen bush’s tenders look like this before.

What has happened to Bush’s? We’ve been going there for years and have always enjoyed it until the last year. Each time we go, the food has become worse and worse. The chicken pieces and the tenders are very small. They are typically soggy and taste as if they’ve been sitting for quite some time. The fries and fried okra are soggy and also do not taste fresh. The service is OK, but the prices have continued to increase and increase and increase. The quality of the food has decreased. We do not think we can continue to support them until they can improve their food, service, and price.

I spent about $13 & the chicken was clearly old & had been sitting out for god knows how long. It was basically inedible, so that was money down the drain. The instant mashed potatoes were watery. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone not even animals.

Drove through and purchased six tenders and brought them home… I wouldn’t even call these nuggets. One was all breading except for a piece of meat that was smaller than the tip of my pinky finger. I called back to tell them how small they were and was told that they give extras when they are that small. I did not get any extras. It was explained to me that they have to serve what they get and they have been receiving the small tenders. I won’t be back.

This place was horrible. There management could careless if they have happy customers or no customers at all. Pretty sad. Came into today at 1357 to get a sweet tea and a coke. Charged me full price but by time they came to take my order it was 2pm and still charged me full price. Said it was my fault and if I didn’t like it I could go to sonic after already taking my money. The mangers look like they haven’t bathe in a couple of days and never smiled nor cared. They are the ones that said it was my fault. The receipt shows 2:11 but the wall says 2:05 and another clock says something else. They are highly rude and it smells in there. I wouldn’t waste your time nor your hard earned money coming here because they don’t care. I will not be back!!!!!
