I can’t believe what Bush’s chicken has turned into. I was so excited when I seen one in Gatesville. Then I got my expensive order of 6 tender meal. They were so small I mistake two of them for French fries. The picture is the largest one in the box. Never again

First time in over a year I’ve been to Bush’s in Gatesville. The huge hole in the driveway is still there. At least they had a few cones in front of it to keep people from falling in with their little foreign cars. The door used by the staff to wait on cars has no handle and it had to be propped open with a cone borrowed from the pit outside. It’s an open invitation for flies and critters to enter the kitchen area. The two girls waiting on customers in the drive up were friendly, but with just a couple cars in front of us, it still seemed like 15-20 minutes to get our order. Then when we got out to the house at the farm, I was completely shocked to see the tenders that were served. I do not have extra large hands, but you can see by comparison, the tenders were hardly the size of my thumb. I don’t know who owns and runs the chain, but I would fire the individual you have running this location. For years, you have been the premier chicken restaurant and the quality of the product being delivered at this location does not reflect well on your reputation. I would also think that the overall appearance of the property falls under the responsibility of the manager, and brother let me tell you, this individual is bringing your reputation down to a level that does not reflect well on your brand. I will not be stopping by any time soon and I will not be recommending this location to anyone else for dining. You’re missing out on a huge opportunity to clean house, both literally and figuratively. Please fix this, McGregor is too far for fast food.

I spent $40 on food and had to wait over 10mins for tenders. All that is fine, but when im sitting in my vehicle waiting for my food and ask for a refill on my sweet tea im told I cant have one because I didnt order in the store? Are you serious what a way to treat customers.

Went through the drive thru and got alot of bone in chicken. The chicken was dry and old. The fries were hard and under cooked. Weird bc I saw in other pictures the fries were overcooked. Gallon tea has tasted old in the past. Like close to expiring. Take some time and check your order before driving off.

I used to have problems here, they used to always mess up my order and were pricey but now their prices match everywhere else and they don’t really mess up my order anymore I normally always get a 3 piece meal but did try their new chicken fried steak which I love red beans and rice.

Piping hot chicken, gizzards, and livers. Service was quick and restaurant had ample seating room. We have tried other chicken fast food restaurants and have to say Bush’s is our favorite. All their restaurants look like a scene from the 70’s but don’t let that deter you from eating there. One drawback folks, they use a lot of ice so when ordering a drink call out less ice and you’ll be happy you did.

For at least five minutes three cars were waiting in line at the drive-through without anyone coming out to take our order. No big deal. Alerts constantly going off obviously because the food was ready to pull.
But every single employee was standing right outside of the back door smoking.
It’s no big deal that they were smoking, but There is no line of work that should ever allow every single employee to take a break at the same time.

I didn’t end up ordering at all. After sitting in line for 10-15 minutes and the employees taking the orders for three different vehicles that arrived after I did. I informed them that I had not yet ordered and they still skipped me so I ended up leaving
