This is one of our favorite local spots to have dinner and bring guests.

The wait staff is friendly but somehow almost every time the loyalty points system doesn’t allow us to use our points… the staff is usually confused about it. I’d say once every 5/6 times it works and the points discount is always a nice helper to the bill.

My wife and I stopped in here for some crabs and we weren’t disappointed. Crabs were a good size and seasoned very well. Service was also very good and we enjoyed the outdoor seating. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for crabs.

We come down to visit once or twice a year to get the all you can eat Maryland Blue Crabs. Crabs have always been cooked well. Have been full and are very reasonably priced for all you can eat. On this visit we decided to try the meatball appetizer which had a combination of bolognese sauce and pesto which seemed interesting. I really liked the combinations so switched my meal to the rigatoni and meatballs. Chelsea was our server and she did a great job. Thank you for a great visit.

Love this place. Great burgers, seafood, and wings. Servers are fantastic and friendly. Portions match the prices which is nice in this day and age. Reminds me of home with all the Philly sports decor and eagles fans there on Sundays to help me root on the birds!

A group of 8 of us came in for crabs. We were seated promptly by our bartender McKenzie. She took great care of is the entire time. All of us enjoyed our food and crabs. The mediums were PERFECT for AUCE! The hushpuppies are to die for and the corn was sweet, even at this time of year! We will all return again!

Absolutely amazing experience. Best seafood restaurant in the state of Delaware. I have traveled across the country and had fresh dungeoness crabs off the boat and they were just as good as here. The difference was they didn’t have the garlic sauce with fresh cherry and heirloom tomatos and onions on top. Wow I can’t say enough good things about this. Be prepared to get your hands dirty but a little soap and water will fix that no problem. We will be back weekly for these selections! And the service was on point by Noni. She was attentive, personable and professional.

$$, Recommend for anyone looking for a place to grab a cold beer and relax while watching a game or chowing down on some crabs.

After rebranding from a crab house to a sports bar and grill, Bushels was and is still my favorite place for good crabs and a personal recommendation for staying off the mainstream line for them! Their all you can eat feasts have only grown to now include crawfish! While the appetisers are pricier than I would expect for bar and grill service the main entrees will entice anyone from cheesesteaks to decadent pastas. While I miss their crab house vibes I’m interested to see them expand into this new design.

I’ve wanted to re-review this location for a while being a personal fan of the Zoggs group and their other locations in Lewes and Rehoboth. My review has been updated but still includes last year’s commentary below.

Previous Review:
Casual restaurant/crab shack. Went with a group of 5 and sat outside as music inside was louder than expected. Was not crowded. Menu entree’s were limited and majority came a la carte. Service was slow but the staff were pleasant. Among our entrees the fried shrimp dish did not meet personal quality expectation, cocktail sauce was solidified, chicken was overcooked and tasted like fish for the caeser salad. All you can eat crabs were cooked well and maintained the medium size as advertised. Due to there being a few crab shacks in Rehoboth and this restaurant being a member the Zogg’s family (a company I that respect) I personally expected better from tonight’s dinner.

This was the absolute worse all you can eat crabs that I’ve ever had!!! Full of sodium. I paid full price $85 but it truly was not worth it. I’ll never go back again. My husband had a cheese steak and that was full of salt too! The waitress took off his corona: I did leave a tip because she was nice. Food, an absolute NO! I should’ve gone back to Crabby Dick’s

I recently dined at a crab house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that both the food and service were far from satisfactory.

Firstly, the food itself was a letdown. I ordered 12 crabs, expecting a flavorful and well-seasoned delicacy. Unfortunately, what arrived on my plate was bland, mushy and lacked any discernible taste. The crab meat seemed dull and lacked freshness, leaving me questioning the quality of the crabs. It was undoubtedly some sort of the worst crabs I have ever had. It was $130 for a dozen crabs!

Moreover, the service at this crab house was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive to the needs of the customers. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, I had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for both my order to be taken and my food to arrive. The servers were inattentive, neglecting to check on tables or refill glasses. Their lack of professionalism and indifference left a sour taste in my mouth, figuratively and literally.

Furthermore, the overall ambiance of the restaurant was decent but it was dead as far as business. The interior felt dated and worn, lacking any charm or warmth. The seating arrangements were uncomfortable, and the noise level was excessive, making it difficult to hold a conversation. It certainly did not create an inviting or enjoyable dining atmosphere.

Given the underwhelming quality of the food, the subpar service, and the uninspiring ambiance, I cannot recommend this crab house to anyone seeking a delightful seafood dining experience. There are undoubtedly better options available in Rehoboth Beach, and I encourage visitors to explore those instead.

Family was visiting and they wanted crab so we found Bushels and went for dinner. Great menu, just not the best food.

We ordered two Cadillac margaritas, my favorite drink, especially bc they use top notch ingredients for it. Both drinks were not drinkable from being beyond sour. Luckily we explained to our waitress and she took it off the bill for us.

The mussels were just not good. Very oily and buttery. Usually that’s the best part; the wine sauce.

My Husband got friend shrimp and mashed potatoes. It looked and tasted like the potatoes came from a box mix.
