July 29 2019 NZ birthday lunch. Ordered vegetarian burger with eggplant. Good taste. I got potato salad as side, French fries should be a better option.

July 9 2019 cheap and wholesome food. $4.60 for plate full of rice with a different curry everyday. Got my favorite tofu stir fry today. The staff could be more cheerful, but I’ve seen the same bunch working here for a long time so it’s ok to not be excited everyday. This place offers better food than other quick bite options on campus.

Not really a good dining hall for rutgers, its pretty known for the not the best food. The people who work here are great though and its really clean. Just wish the food was better but its not the worst thing ever. Tbh just go to livingston dining hall

The food tastes pretty good in my opinion. The options are somewhat limited on weekends though and because of that I would say it’s not worth going to unless you are a student. They do a very good job at accommodating dietary restrictions.

The Haddock was over fried & missing taste, carrots were like rubber, fried rice much curry, pasta needed more cheese.
The lentil soup was good & a little bit spicy, and the soda machine gave fresh soda,
I heard the ice cream machine is broken half the time.

The worst dining hall at Rutgers. The food is so bad, it’s non edible, there’s a lot of food waste on the conveyer belt. Many items look like theyve been there for days. Normal dinner time, both soft serve and hard ice cream are not available, the soft serve machine is power off, and there’s no container at all in the freezer for hard ice cream. Staff who wears gloves to serve food, but the same time using their gloved hands doing their own business right next to the food, like picking teeth. It’s such a waste of everything here. While both Livingston and Neilson (Cook) dining halls are decent. This means those who doesn’t have the choice but the Busch dining hall will always get the worst with the same price.

Faculty dinning is okay. The food is decent and prices are affordable. My original reviews was five starts, but after multiple visits I have found many limitations. Most of all, the options becomes very limited in the sense that only handful of stuff are actually good.

The food is surprisingly good for what is basically a cafeteria and, for the most part, very well priced. There are a variety of options in terms of both food and combination deals. Certain things to stay away from are the stir fry and pizza, but be sure to check out the sandwiches and soup. The atmosphere is very drab and unexciting. There are only 2 cashiers so sometimes it gets very backed up.

Food is meh, not many vegetarian options and food is never marked clearly. Also, most staff are friendly or just going about their day, but I’ve encountered some creeps that’ll stare at you while you eat and follow you around. Definitely always go with a friend.

They put on a very nice Thanksgiving lunch for the Rutgers community every year and it’s great. Nice selection of holiday foods, decent setting, and good dessert bar. Look forward to going every year!

I used to eat here when I went to Rutgers. It was literally just about the only thing I liked about attending Rutgers, so I’m going to ding them on that. The food itself wasn’t anything special, but it was prepared well…so I’ll ding them on that. And the food made me fat…so I’ll ding them on that, but was it my fault when your only option is to exist on salad, pizza, cheese fries, and sloppy joe’s?? Blech!
