Definitely recommend for a great steak meal! Our server, Michael, was hands-down a funny and delightful addition to the dinner experience. Even if you don’t want a steak meal, the salads were amazing and I’m sure their other entrees are just as worth it! But if you are looking for a good grilled steak, come to this place because they prepare different presentations and can customize the add ons to the steak. Highly recommend their truffle butter! Michael was right in it was hard to share just one serving among friends cause it was so good! Will be coming again!

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. The server was so knowledgeable and friendly. The manager even overheard us discussing wine and came over to help. The Wagyu beef appetizer was incredible. I ordered the scallops and I cleaned the plate along with everyone else in my party. I would go back to Charleston just to eat here again! 10/10

My wife and I just had our Anniversary dinner at Burwell’s Stone Fire Grill and it was the best dining experience we’ve had while in Charleston. The General Manager, Don sat us at a semi private table upstairs which was an excellent spot. Our server was Michael and he was awesome! His recommendations were spot on! We started of with the Hot Rock Snake River Wagyu, which was amazing. My wife and I shared the Seasonal salad. Very fresh and loaded with flavor. Our dinner entrees were the 6oz filet with truffle & parmesan mashed potatoes and asparagus. I added the seared sea scallops and we shared those. We followed up our meal with the peach blueberry streusel with mascarpone cheese ice cream and butterscotch sauce. Everything we had was phenomenal. The scallops were the highlight of the meal being the top 3 on my list to date. With the service, atmosphere, food quality, and flavor, I would definitely rate this restaurant in my top 5 all time. The attention to detail is second to none. I’ve traveled all of the Eastern US and this is one of my favorites! Thank you to Don and Michael for such a pleasurable experience.

The food here was incredible! I was surprised to find the manager seating folks when we arrived but it was quite refreshing to see a manager put forth such effort! We had a bit of a miscommunication about our food, which resulted in it taking much longer to come out but they handled it VERY well! I spoke to the manager, he went immediately to the kitchen and our food was out ASAP! The waitress was super sweet and really took the situation all in stride. They did give us a discount on our meal and even gave us 3 truffles for my mom’s birthday to share! The food was impeccable, we had the hot rock app(which I highly recommend) as well as salads, steak, asparagus, and shrimp. We appreciate all their efforts!

Food was hit or miss. Tried the waygu hangar steak ($46), strip ($54) and filet ($42), Caesar ($7) and wedge ($8) salads, plus beverages and one split plate fee. $220 before tip was about $55/person. Strip steak was the downfall. Eww. Caesar was not what was expected – more vinegarette than Mayo/cream based. Felt bad for the person in our party that got the strip steak and Caesar salad.

We have eaten here twice now and it is hands down our favorite place for steak in Charleston! The mashed potatoes are my favorite side. The beef has amazing flavor and we are always sad when the meal is over. I miss the cabin fever drink (or whatever it was called) that was cinnamon flavored, but I won’t hold it against this place.

Went in to eat dinner tonight not knowing what to expect since I had never been there before. We had a reservation for 7pm but arrived early and were seated immediately. Our waitress Cathy came over and explained the menu to us as well as our drink options. The cocktails were fantastic as well as the appetizers. We orders the deviled eggs and Hot Stone Appetizer, where you cook your own pieces of steak on a stone that is seasoned and heated so hot it o my takes a minute for you to cook the bite size meat cuts. The fleet was tender and the service was tremendous even thought they were busy, I would definitely go back again.

Dinner was PHENOMENAL! From service to food, we started with the hot rock Wagyu, their seasonal salad, then 10 oz filet with the mashed potatoes and asparagus presentation. Everything was timed for us so they took the whole order at the beginning. A definite recommend for anyone in Charleston! I didn’t get a picture of the main course, but that just goes to show how delicious it was!
