We got the deviled eggs and salad. The deviled eggs had so much flavor. Yum. As I am writing this my mouth is watering for them. My husband steak was good and he added mushrooms and onions. The fries had great flavor. However my filet mignon was overcooked and chewy so I couldn’t eat it. The scallops were delicious!
Order the wet aged prime rib eye 16oz steak, classic presentation, side of blackened shrimp. Charged me 92$ – wasn’t worth it. Times before, the steak was tender, well cooked, flavorful, juicy, charred just right, etc. The first time I came here, wasn’t cooked to my liking, they tried 3x to get it right. 3x after, cooked perfectly. Today, one of, if not the toughest, steaks I’ve ever had. Order medium well, and the coloring was on point, but it tough as hell, no flavor, no char from the wood-fired grill, no tenderness whatsoever, just an overall horrible steak. I’m not in the business of returning food over and over again. The first time, if was offered up by the owner because the cook was new, okay cool no issue. But today, I was with family, and wasn’t going to play that game again. The meat on the steak wasn’t the quality it should have been. Looked as if they put a bunch of meat together, used meat glue, and put it on the grill. The taste, the texture, the form of the meat, all of it just didn’t sit right with me. Maybe I’m over reacting, but I don’t think I am. Happy hour, their drinks, phenomenal. But I’ll never eat dinner here again.
