Amazing staff. Super friendly and great food and drinks. Loved the meatloaf sammy.Wished we could have eaten on Sun evening, but get it. The cards available make it fun to play your own games and the free foosball is awesome. Cards got returned on Monday evening

The owner Janet was fantastic. We had an appetizer of jalapeño poppers. My wife had the fish sandwich, and I had a Vermont cheesesteak. They were both delicious really enjoyed the jalapeño poppers. The owner Janet was very friendly and accommodating.

The bartender Ray was genuine and friendly and gave us a great history of the pub. The owner Janet came over to chat with us and made us feel so welcomed. She really cares about her establishment and it shows.
Food was great. The Vermont cheesesteak was well worth it and this is coming from Philadelphians!
We also appreciated the sign on the door emphasizing inclusion at the bar!

Took over an hour to make a plate of eggs benedict and there were only 24 people in the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. A couple behind me came in 15 minutes after I ordered, ate, and left all before I received my food. When I asked about the food several times, I was told “it’s being plated.” Just be honest if you forgot the order or it’s going to be a while.

My husband and I spent three of our four happy hours in Stowe at Burt’s. Can’t say enough about Ray, one of the bartenders. He is friendly, easy to talk to, attentive, and wears killer Hawaiian shirts. The locals are so friendly and anyone who walks in the bar can be part of the fun. Burt’s is a definite highlight of our visit!

Burt’s is a small place that has character and unlike other places ins Stowe they have a small menu with fresh made dishes. I ordered the chili cup and tacitos, the serving for both was generous. That was before I found out they also have tamales, while I didn’t order it another customer ordered one and it was a large size green chili tamale. Prices are good, the draft beer is cold and they have a large selection of craft and mainstream can/bottle beer. This is definitely a local bar, but they are friendly and talkative. The hardest part was finding the place, their parking entrance looks like you are driving into someone’s yard and there bushes/trees that prevent a clear view of the place from the street.

Nice local tavern. No food on Sundays. If you want to grab an Apres beer this is the place – not crowded.

This is the spot to go! We just went in for some beers and shots to have a fun night out and a fun night was had! The bartender was awesome and was a whole vibe of thier own which heighten the already awesome atmosphere. One of our party ordered the chili and really enjoyed it. We didn’t head downstairs but we saw there was a pool table down there. The men’s room door doesn’t lock, but it kinda added to the charm of the place. Will definitely head back for more good times here.
