If you haven’t been to Burtons you’re missing out, staff is great, food & drinks are amazing I had one of the best steaks I’ve had in awhile from a restaurant. Usually when I ask for medium rare they just never hit it on point but this place was the exception. If I could give more stars I would.

So yea, I definitely went back just to be disappointed!
5 minutes in and my daughter texts me she got out of work early, had to rush out of there, it just sucks that after waiting all day to enjoy another great meal from this place I had to leave soo quickly.
I prefer to eat calmly and in peace, oh well the sacrifices I make are worth it, I guess that leaves me with no choice, I’ll just have to go back.

I have celiac disease and was so relieved when traveling to Charlottesville to find this place. They have a huge gluten free menu. I had the gluten free pasta piccata and the gluten free seven layer chocolate cake. The pasta and chicken was amazing. I’d have no idea it was gluten free if they hadn’t clearly marked my takeout order with a “celiac” label.

I was a little hesitant because of the prices and how expensive this restaurant is, but oh boy am I glad we took the chance!
Not only was there seating outside, away from the busyness of, which was beautiful on this almost Summer evening but they made sure I could get through in my wheelchair!
The waitress was so sweet and kind and made sure to take note of any allergies and sensitivities food wise, which is amazing when you’re in a restaurant with many dishes.
The entrees were so delicious and filling, but even the appetizers and sides were beyond delicious. Both my partner and I fell in love with each bite we took. It was well worth the money we spent.
Last but not least, they made it so easy to get our check. They have a machine they can bring to the table that you can use your card with! Easy and simple.

Stopped here for lunch and we were very pleased. Our food was delicious and our server was friendly and attentive. They have a full bar, beautiful ambiance, clean restrooms, outdoor seating, plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant.

Nice restaurant to stop for a weekend dinner, the staff was extremely nice. A special highlight here for Aliana, who went above and beyond to ensure that my mother and I had a great outing. Her customer service was top notch, her helpful suggestions were taken and appreciated, and she was sure to check in to make sure we were having the best time. You can’t do better than personable staff like her! The food was really good as well and came out in good time. Overall, the pricing reflects the elevated menu options, but it is worth a weekend treat or a special event. I would definitely come back and request Aliana by name.

Delicious! As you know by now we do base our rating partially on the dining experience includes food sensitivity and allergy alternatives along with vegan options. Burton’s checks the boxes here and they use a separate fryer for the gluten free fries! Otherwise, the bacon cheeseburger, rice, fries, fish sandwich, string beans were all good!

Tonight was our second time dining here. Both times the food was absolutely delicious. My oldest is very particular about her steak, and this is the only restaurant we have found where she likes how the steak is cooked. The rest of us got burgers and devoured them. Fries were crispy and salted just right. We don’t tend to eat out a lot because service tends to be sub par, but our waitress, Summer, was attentive and friendly. She came to our table shortly after being seated, listened to our orders and was patient as I ordered for 3 kids and myself, got us refills before we had finished our drinks, and checked on us numerous times. She seemed to enjoy her job and helping others. We wished we lived closer to Burtons, but it’s probably a good thing we’re an hour away or we’d eat there too much. We will definitely eat here whenever we are in Charlottesville!

The calamari was perfect, happiest I’ve ever been with an order of calamari, even with frequenting the coast! The steak was also cooked perfectly, and their chimichurri sauce is incredible. My spouse had their Maxx burger and was beyond happy with it! The parmesan truffle fries were both crunchy and soft, so really, just perfect again! Would absolutely go to dinner here more!
