I’ve been to Burtons Grill more times than I can count, and for good reason! The food is consistently amazing, and I’ve tried so many items on the menu without ever having a bad meal. My all-time favorites are the steak and cheese spring rolls and the firecracker shrimp, but honestly, everything I’ve had has been fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The ambience is warm and inviting, and for the quality you get, the price point is incredibly fair. It’s easily one of the best spots for American food; a go-to for casual dinners, date nights, or catching up with friends. Highly recommend!

Nice casual vibe. It is dark inside, but there is a quaint outdoor area that makes up for it. The clam chowder was above average for New England, and the scallops with risotto were excellent (pictured below). I would rate this place a solid 3.75. I never give 5 stars since I have not been to a Michelin-rated restaurant yet. This will definitely be added to my list of local favorites.

We visited Burtons Grill & Bar for the first time today and had lunch while our dog was getting X-Rays at Tuft’s to see how her surgery recovery progress was going. The dining room was pretty empty, so I was a slightly disappointed the hostess seated my wife and I in the booth next to a booth of a table of four. With that said, I was glad to be in a booth instead of a table in the middle of the dining room. Also, the table next to us could not be heard during our entire meal. I am impressed at the privacy we experienced although being near this party of four. My wife ordered a daily special of the Reuben Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. I helped her with a couple of her fries – delicious! She loved her sandwich and could only eat half. She asked for a box to take the other half home. I ordered the Crispy Fish Sandwich (fried haddock, pickled red onions, pickles, tartar sauce, and brioche bun) with regular fries. My crispy fish breading was lighter and drier than I expected based on past fried haddock sandwiches. It felt like I had eaten a healthier for me fried fish sandwich, which did leave me wanting a little more tarter sauce. Some of my tarter sauce had somehow slid on to my plate from the bun, but I was able to swoosh my fish against it. Most importantly to me, the fish sandwich arrived piping hot so I knew it was delivered to the table as soon as it was ready. I also enjoyed my fries. Fortunately my wife gave me her ketchup. One thing I do not like is being served a small ketchup serving like today. The server was prompt and attentive with our needs at every step of our service. We will be back to try more of the menu soon based on our very positive experience.

Janel was absolutely excellent during our visit to Burton’s. From the moment we were seated, she was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations in regards to my girlfriend’s food allergies, and checked in at just the right times without ever being intrusive. Her professionalism and warm attitude truly elevated our dining experience. We’ll definitely be asking for Janel again on our next visit

Went for late lunch, early dinner with a friend. Totally new place & area. Pretty big & spacious. The truffle fries were best. Ahi tuna was okay. Our server was very friendly.
Update: Went again for dinner with my friends fam. I ordered the general tso with shrimp. It was delish. Everyone liked their food they ordered but the wait was too long. Went again for the third time for our post marathon meal. Vegetable bowl with shrimp was amazing. Love every bit of it.

Very nice place to eat. The food was good. The service was also good. Our waitress was very friendly and checked on us many times. The atmosphere is nice too. I just think the prices are a bit high for the food.

Not the Burton’s of days gone by… used to be a treat and a true dining experience. Staff was top notch, informed and engaging. My recent experience was far from that. Server was friendly and absent. Party of two, we ordered meals that included salads, veggies and filets. ALL of which were brought at the same time. I chose to eat the salad, and my meal got cold. Why did I not say something? Couldn’t find the server. Not worth ruining the evening because of poor training, meaning stage the food. When she finally returned, no question as to why the meal was being boxed, just asked about dessert. The food was/is excellent. Steak cooked perfectly, salad fresh. Pricey for poor service.

We stopped in randomly and were happy with our experience! The prices do seem higher, but considering the food is all made in house it is quite reasonable. For lunch we got the fish sandwich and the cheeseburger. The fish sandwich/burger was excellent – I got what I think is an entire fillet of fish, battered and perfectly fried. The fish tasted fresh, the fillet was flaky and juicy, and went so well with the pickled onions that came with it! Our fries were delicious as well. Burger tasted great, but nothing extraordinary. There was a slight issue with our bill but our waitress was lovely and all the staff we spoke to were so friendly! It was clear that many of the customers were returning for the food and service. Definitely recommend, they have a great outdoor seating area to enjoy the rest of summer!
