The owners changed not too long ago And of course, it’s more skimpy than it’s ever been. Yes, I ordered only one scoop of rice but it’s the same order.m I’ve ordered 50+ times in the last few years. I watch her put the chicken on and it’s always two scoops, but it’s usually two full scoops. The last 3 times I’ve gone the scoops are barely to the top of the scoop. I’m sick of people ruining food places I like by being so skimpy /cheap and ripping off their loyal customers. I’m not sure, but I suspect the employees are being told to be stingy. There were three regular girls that worked there for the last bunch of years, but don’t work there anymore. Now there are new people. This burrito is by far the smallest (LARGE) burrito I’ve ever got from this store. If it keeps up I will not be back. Pretty sad how fast new owners / employees can ruin a go to spot.
I didn’t have any other options in Burlington. But I would never go back to this place.
The woman who served us gave us dirty looks and had an extremely poor attitude throughout our interaction. There was a lot of unnecessary lid slamming and tossing. Throughout the rest of the interaction, she behaved as though we and our order were an inconvenience to her. She acted this way to other customers during our time there as well.
The food quality was no better. I ordered a small chicken burrito. Chicken was too salty. Black beans were cold and kind of stale. My friend ordered a beef burrito, in which the ground beef was grey, bland, and watery. Our burritos turned out really wet and gross.
Portions here were much smaller than expected. It literally fit in the palm of my tiny hand. For the worst, smallest, chicken burrito I’ve ever had and a can of cola, it came out to $11.
When ordering a burrito they were very stingy with the portions /toppings. Not a big deal, that might be how their portions are.
The huge issue coming was when the lady who was making our burrito was taking it off the grill we noticed the paper she was going to place it back on was covered in sauce. We asked for a new paper so the burrito would t be messy on the outside. Apparently it was the worst thing to ask. The worker was fighting us telling us it wasn’t a big deal and no one ever has asked for a new paper and we should deal with it. She mentioned no other customer has ever asked. We kept saying we didn’t want it to be messy and we we not asking for nothing for free, we’re not swearing or getting upset, just trying to get a new paper that the burrito was being wrapped up in. She was so angry and could not understand why we wanted such a simple thing that would not even be a second guess anywhere else.
If this is the service we get for something so small not only are we never coming back, but making sure we tell everyone how awful our experience was.
Not ok to treat customers like that, god forbid she spoke to someone more angry or aggressive the way she did I’m sure the outcome wouldn’t be the same. Unacceptable
I thought she may tired but poor service on first impression. She made my order and very less amount food inside my bowl and burrito.
She charged me 18.46 dollars which is higher than burrito boys. I just had one choice in this area because burrito boys was closed.
After all done I seat in my car and talking in my phone she came out side and said I delivered wrong parcel by mistake. This is completely bad.
Next time if she doesn’t change her gloves after each order I will call ministry right away.
People please don’t go here to make your day go to other Mexican restaurants.
