This restaurant is incredibly authentic and serves some of the most flavorful food and drinks I’ve ever had. The staff is so nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. These are hands down the best birria tacos I’ve ever tasted. Their desserts are also delicious. The place itself is super cute, and they play great music that adds to the vibe. Everything felt genuinely authentic I’m definitely coming back.

My mom and I showed up for lunch last week Tuesday. I ordered lengua tacos, they were completely dry and burnt. I ate 1 and returned the other. Requested for steak taco instead, same issue again, being dry and burnt. I ate it because of being really hungry. My mom ordered chicken enchiladas, she also was disappointed because the chicken was completely cold. When I got home I explained to my wife about the experience, she reminded me that was the reason we haven’t been there in over 3yrs. Sad to have experienced it all over again. My Dad Victor, God rest his soul!! He would always order the trays of lengua for many years!! Its not the same anymore.

This is one of our favorite Mexican spots in the area! Strong margaritas (frozen or on-the-rocks), tasty chips & salsa, and the queso fundido with chorizo is delicious. Huge burritos can feed 2 people, al pastor tacos are great. Flan is a solid choice for dessert. Attentive service and tasteful ambiance, good for lunch or dinner. Definitely recommend!

Service was excellent food not so good. I had to send the food back the rice was hard and was sticking together. I had the California burrito with chicken and it was not good. After remaking the beans and rice for some reason it tasted sweet and was unpleasant to eat and I told the waitress who was very kind not to worry about taking it to go cause it was trash ️

Mi Tierra has gone completely downhill. The food quality is nowhere near what it used to be—bland, poorly prepared, and honestly not worth the price anymore. Whatever standards they once had are clearly gone.
But the real disaster is the customer service. When there’s an issue and you ask to speak to a manager, they don’t help you, don’t resolve anything, and instead tell you to call a phone number that doesn’t even work. That’s not customer service—that’s avoiding responsibility.
So let’s recap:
• Declining food quality
• Zero accountability
• Fake support channels
• No manager willing to actually manage
If you don’t care about your customers anymore, just say that. There are way too many good restaurants out there to waste time or money on a place that clearly doesn’t care once they’ve taken your order.
Won’t be back—and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I had a review for this restaurant before that it was better but today I was disappointed. I ordered food a moment ago and I ordered a Gordita with only beans, the meat and cilantro but I received a Gordita with everything, I don’t like cheese, or cream or I don’t know what else it was being put but I was so hungry and I didn’t eat it. Customers should have what it was ordered.

I liked it, the food was good. I always have high hopes for Mexican food. The family enjoyed it but nothing that has WOW us. The place is nice and family friendly. The service was great, never over your shoulder. They make you feel welcome.

My first time here and will not be my last if I’m in town for work again. Very homey feeling and the environment was great. As for the food I was definitely impressed with the taste and portion size. You def get your moneys worth. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for lunch, dinner or late night drunk food! Two thumbs up!!
