My family and I had a late flight in and came here at 1am and it was so good. Definitely hit the spot. We got the rolled tacos and the carne Asada fries. The rolled tacos were delicious classic rolled tacos. We got the combo so it came with rice and beans. Those friesss…… the Bees Knees! Nice to know these a 24 hour place that has Bomb food.

I’m pretty disappointed with the quality of my lunch this afternoon!
I come here about four to five times a month and the food is usually fresh and good most of the time. I’ve noticed that the quality of Luna Burritos has declined the tacos i got were not fresh at all, the meat was dry and the taco shell, well i will save the bad comment about that!
I do know that i won’t be coming here anytime soon!!!

I come and eat at Luna‘s often. It’s the closest drive-through taco shop to my house. My only problem is every time I order asda fries of . I never get pico de gallo. It says it comes with it. I always have to remind them to put it on there because if I don’t just like tonight, they won’t put it on there

I must’ve made it to Luna Burritos on a good night. Last night was a hit! I say this because within the past 2 years, my drive-thru experience at Luna Burritos has been below to mediocre. Basically, nothing to brag about on food and service. I am glad they’re open 24 hours. I was immediately greeted, as I drove up to the menu board. I had placed my order for beef rolled tacos. I drove up to the cashier window and was greeted again. There, I received my order within a couple minutes. Although, the car in front of me had waited a little longer than I have, the wait for me was still bearable. I was given my simple order along with salsas I requested. “Thank yous” were then exchanged and off I went. The drive thru cashier was the most friendliest, polite and professional-like staff I’ve encountered (she spoke English). Actually, I don’t recall any Luna staff that performed at higher standards. Also, props to the cook for making my rolled tacos crispy, not burnt, beefy with meat that stuck out at the end of the rolls, and tasty, with fresh avocados and cheese to top. All it was missing was shredded lettuce. It’s ok, my rolled tacos was the Bomb!

Went at about 2:00 in the morning after fishing to go grab a California burrito. Not many options available in imperial Beach that late with the exception of two other taco shops. They had to drive through so that was a plus.
Meat and potatoes are my go-to, so we decided to go with the super California burrito which includes sour cream cheese guacamole. This came out to about $14.99 with the large Jamaica the total was about $20.47
From the time it took the order the food to receiving it it was probably about 5 minutes, it was pretty quick service. The cashier was satisfactory and gave us our burrito and drinks. We did ask them to cut the burrito in half, and they did do that for us. They gave us four salsa’s two red and two green.
Burrito was a good size, and it was fresh and hot upon our first impression. We took a bite and that’s where it became pretty mid for me. The meat was okay, could use a little bit more seasoning. The fries were not crispy, they were very soggy but you can tell they were fresh potatoes and not frozen. The guacamole was okay along with the pico de gallo that did not come off as fresh.
The green and the Red Salsa that didn’t have too much kick, but I found the red to be the better of the two in my opinion.
I’m giving the burrito a three star rating based off those factors. Had the fries been crispy, this easily could have been like a 4.2 burrito.
The Jamaica was homemade, and was not too sweet but not too tart, it was a little bit more towards the tart if anything.
Overall nothing to write home about, but it did satisfy my hunger last night.

I got a carnitas burrito. The carnitas was very good however they forgot to put the guacamole on my burrito. It says on the menu that it comes with it. Disappointed that I didn’t get what was expected. Other than that, really good.

Tbh the food is pretty good but some find it bad or sickening. I personally love the food there and their service great. The atmosphere is just basic restaurant vibe but its not about the vibe it’s about the food. Overall 4/5 stars. Id comeback every now and then.
