We ordered a carry-out. The beef tacos with chipotle mayo were so packed and flavorful. The chicken quesadilla was yummy and the california chicken burrito was delicious. We love our cilantro over here, very happy that’s an option on tacos and burritos. The chips are also crisp and airy. Our family will return again for sure.

Burrito Mundo is my favorite restaurant. I’m a huge Mexican food fan. For years I’ve ordered the same thing: the plain Juan burrito with added queso inside and a large order of queso and chips. It’s a heck of a meal and usually turns into 2. But now I’m starting to try other foods on the menu. The chicken and cheese quesadilla is awesome. The maize burrito is very good. And the guacamole is fresh and tasty. The manager and staff are always welcoming and very nice to talk with. I just can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Way better than Taco Bell, qdoba or chipotle. I could eat here everyday.

UPDATED REVIEW 1/2/26:
I wanted to update my previous two-star review (where I had a disappointing experience with the Maiz burrito and guacamole). This visit was a step up, though there is still room for improvement.
The Food:
Piñata Burrito (Chicken): I was impressed by how carefully the burrito was made and wrapped—it didn’t fall apart and felt high-quality. The flavor was decent, though the chicken was a little on the dry side.
Chips & Queso: The chips were excellent—fresh and crunchy. However, the queso was a letdown; it was very watery and lacked the bold flavor you’d expect.
Sides: Added a side of sour cream which helped with the dryness of the burrito.
Final Verdict:
This meal officially erased the negative impression of my first visit. It’s a solid three-star experience now. While it wasn’t perfect, the care put into the assembly makes me more likely to return than before.
ORIGINAL REVIEW 2 STAR:
Disappointing order tonight. My Maiz Burrito with chicken was un-grilled despite the $0.99 charge. The flavor was very bland and the Spanish rice was undercooked. Chips and guacamole were good. In the future I’ll give this place one more chance to impress me.

Although I really wanted to love this place, I unfortunately had a bad experience. The woman who took my order and prepared the food was very personable, kind, and friendly — she was great. However, I sadly ended up with very bad food poisoning after eating here. I hate to leave a negative review because the service was good, but I have to be honest about my experience.

New moves but if it works… You place the order and make payment over the phone. You can no longer go on the inside (which is fine if they get yourordercorrect). I gave the 3 star because I paid for rice and didn’t get it, and for the price I paid I expected everything in that bag. The chicken was dry but the steak was good. Everything is made to order.
