This place is always packed during lunchtime but I was able to grab a seat.
Parking lot is the worst, but I got lucky.
I was pretty happy that she didn’t drop off the chips and salsa until I had my drinks – I always make the mistake of too much salsa. Chips are great quality. Thick, fresh, crisp. The salsa is unassumingly good.
Deshebrada burrito was pretty delicious. I think I tried to modify it too much and one of the things I asked for wasn’t there. Delicious nonetheless.
I never order tamales because I never think I’m a fan… I’m realizing that I am a fan. This thing is so good. I’m typing this and taking breaks to take bites. It really is so good. I was at 4 stars and now I’m changing it to 5 just because I’m out of tamale now and want more.
Horchata is on point too.

This place is a classic in the area but it’s in a fast decline. Food is usually old on weekends. I had a very salty orange caldo de res. The vegetables were definately reheated over multiple days. My take home order-burrito was drenched in oil to the point had to be thrown away. Service is a hit or miss depending on the waitress but a miss on most days. No one is attentive or welcoming.

The food is really good. Very Mexican tasting. Better than others. Everything I’ve had there has been above average. The staff and waitresses are very good and helpful. Good menudo, machaca, Mexican plates and although I haven’t tried them yet, the lonches were impressive as they passed by me to be served to others. This place is highly recommended. The prices aren’t cheap but the quality is good.

Everything is made from scratch and with love. The staff is great and im not from El Paso but no less than 4 locals stopped to tell me how good the food is. They have Mexican Coca Cola and Sprite. There’s also a bakery and Carniceria attached to this location.

Good service whether you dine in or order takeout. They have good menudo (I don’t eat the stuff, but my partner likes it and he’s tried it all over town) I like the gorditas they’re 10/10 🙂 whatever you order it won’t disappoint.

Update: I got food poisoning!
I’m really sad to say that this place has gone downhill horribly fast because I love burrito house and I have since I was a kid. Service was very poor, the food was undercooked and tasted old. I was given a lukewarm bottle of ketchup with various crusted pieces on the outside and I’m pretty sure it was not supposed to be left at room temperature because it tasted like it was going bad. Whoever the new owner is, they are not doing burrito house justice.

We stopped to pickup egg/bacon breakfast burritos. Service was wonderful and quick. The bacon was thick & had great flavor. Tortillas were really good. We’ll be back.

First time coming here place was clean servers were nice and always checked up on our table I got the menudo was super delicious 9/10 for sure bread was great my aunt got the red enchiladas and my mom got the gorditas both rate it 10/10, atmosphere was a bit loud but still comfortable if you like Mexican food I’d come here.

Worst customer service ever. Had to chase down waitress to get essentials to eat food. From sitting down to food arriving took about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Food was cold and wrong order was put on my table. This was my first and it will be my last time coming here. Thru the whole ordeal I only saw the waitress twice not including the times I had to go find her. Restaurant was not that busy for anything of this to happen. Definitely do not recommend this stablishment.
