This is the first time this has ever happened but the entire burrito was filled with only unmelted cheese. It was disgusting. I tried to contact the company and was ignored but that’s probably because of DoorDash somehow.

It’s in a gas station so don’t expect it to be luxurious inside lol. The people are nice and the food taste good. We did wait a little longer than I would’ve like for the food, but it did look like they were unstaffed so it’s fair. I got the #24, I wouldn’t get it again but will try out other stuff next time.

Ordered two mild burritos one with hot sauce. Got two mild one hot sauce which was not good at all I have a sensitivity to spicy food. I ran to bathroom as soon as I started to feel burning in my mouth all way down my stomach. Still have the burning feeling my bottom lip even turned red. Told the guy that made them just to get a response he didn’t mess them up.

I was just in this location, and the Burrito factory staff are telling customers there’s at least an hour to an hour and 20-minute wait time this morning.
The guy behind the cash register said, “ I just didn’t want to make so many burritos this morning.”
The manager needs to get involved.
Update 03/08/2026
I decided to stop by this location on 03/08/2026 and try another burrito. On this trip, one of the cooks was violating basic food handling practices. It seemed to be addressed after I notified the kitchen manager, and I appreciate that.
Proper handwashing is a fundamental food safety control in any food business, reducing the risk of cross-contamination, preventing the spread of harmful bacteria and viruses, and helping protect both customer and the business.

My partner and I come on a regular basis every weekend for a meal – it had great value to us since it seemed like a good amount of food for an affordable price. However, we have noticed in recent weeks that the standards aren’t the same as they were. Before, I could expect this container to be full of food -now I have a moat of cardboard surrounding my meal.
I brought this to the manager’s attention once before – I was informed that this was an oversight on their part and it wouldn’t happen again. This review is because it happened again.
Update 9/21/24 This issue has occurred again and we have been informed by management that it is up to the customer to address quality standards at the time of service- quality control should not be the customer’s responsibility 🙁 I am disappointed

Honest to god the best place for burritos in Anchorage. UAA/APU students should know, burritos are ~$12 and it’s enough for two meals or one gigantic meal. My go-to is the sausage breaky burrito but I’ve tried quite a few of their options and they’re all delicious. Staff is incredibly friendly and, either because I’m there too often or because they pay good attention to customers, they’re always happy to get my order started and chat while it’s made. My last three years in Anchorage have been significantly improved since finding this stop, every Burrito Factory morning is a good one. (Also, buy a hoodie!)

Burrito Factory is a flavor explosion! Fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned meats, and a warm, inviting atmosphere make every visit a treat. Their burritos are massive and delicious, truly the best in town. Don’t miss out on this gem!

Bad and Lazy quality. Ive been grabbing burritos from here for 20yrs, but I do so less every year ever since the original owner retired and the quality steadily goes down and down. Today was it for me though. I won’t be returning to get anything but gas from this spot. They gave me a burrito full of burnt chunks in it. When I returned it they said it was their bad, the burnt chunks must of been from the last eggs they cooked in the skillet… For real!? At least they were honest about the laziness. I won’t be eating there again though. The end of a 20yr era.

How good could a gas station burrito be? Very good, if you come to this place! Although, I don’t think it is best burrito in town, these are pretty great. You can call in an order and have it ready, but they are usually pretty fast when you order in store. Get an order going while you fuel up, and be on your way with a tasty fresh burrito.
