First time in. I got the chicken tacos with onion and cilantro, personally not enough onions for me but the chicken was good. The person I was with got a king burrito and it was big but honestly too big, when it got to the end it was super soggy and everything fell out. He also mentioned the steak was not that good. Price wise I feel it was pretty on par with other burrito chains in the area. If you’re close by maybe check it out but don’t make the drive for it.

Had the Mexican platter, came with enchilada and tostada and taco and baby burrito. Was super good, large quantity for price and served fresh! Steak was excellent.

Excellent value. The lengua (tongue) is the most tender I have ever had, definitely worth the upcharge. The burrito and quesadilla with lengua are filling and delicious. I especially like the pork belly tacos. Horchata is always cold, not watered down, and the large is gigantic.

Food here never disappoints. I frequently came here a few years ago for my lunch from work and fell in love with their food here. I remember their Super King Burrito being massive but this last time I went it seemed smaller. I also noticed the raised the prices but I assume it’s for the pandemic and the economy being out of wack. So I understand the change. While the minor changes the food is still fantastic and just like how I remember. The horchata is so refreshing and can drink that all day if I could. Service was fine and quick, a pretty good authentic restaurant located in near the commercial district of Vernon Hills.

Definitely worth a stop. The burrito was absolutely delicious. It was incredibly crowded, but I was there at noon time. There is a reason it was crowded, too. Obviously it’s because the food is good and reasonably priced. It’s a fast food type restaurant with some tables, but the food is made when its ordered and doesn’t sit on some hot plate.

Vernon Hills king burrito was tasty but the chicken was a little dry in the chicken burrito. The chorizo tacos were also a little dry. Portion size is very generous though.

The lady the works at the cashier has an attitude problem that needs to be fixed. If you are working in a restaurant with that type of attitude then work in back. Rude attitude while trying to order my food is bad business.

Traveling from Houston, TX we were craving some breakfast tacos and stumbled upon this hidden Gem! Great authentic Mexican food. We had the chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and kiddos were able to split and share the King Breakfast burrito! Super delicious and tasty. Green salsa is the way to go!
They have the menu with huge print on the entry wall, make a selection, and its counter service. Prices were great for the portions and they have Jarritos, if you don’t know, well then you gotta have the grapefruit and tamarindo ones with breakfast. Trust you’ll enjoy!
