Tried this place for the first time because the prices seemed descent. When I got the burrito it seemed pretty normal sized. Potato egg +$cheese burrito. The ratio between the eggs potatoes and cheese is way off. Too much eggs and little potato. The surplus charge for cheese seems excessive since they only put a minimal amount in the burrito. Also, they add a ton of salt and pepper to the burrito ingredients. The size of the tortilla is too big for the amount of filling they add. You end up eating more egg and tortilla than anything else.

The new location looks good. Walked in and placed my order for 2 burritos for over $20. There were only three or four customers in the restaurant. I began to notice people who walked in after me were leaving with their food already. The young lady at the counter had them quickly make my food. I got a sorry and 4 hot sauces. I used to come here all the time but idk if I will be back.

This place is great if you enjoy Mexican food. Burritos are huge! The only draw back was too much salt. Granted I did order ham AND bacon but my partner did not and the steak and potatos were very salty. Both salsas were delicious and made the food 2x better. I would definitely recommend asking for no salt added. Food for thought. Still one of the best mexican places I’ve eaten at. Small place but very clean and well kept. I will be back.

Been doing Burrito Express for years. Usually Mesa location. Large tasty burritos. Then I get delivered this thing. Looks like a delivered version of. $1.99 Tina’s frozen burrito from grocery store… Hopefully not a greedy trend…. . 2 small pieces of meat in red sauce… mostly just a tortilla….. pathetic….Mesa location still does it right..

Hands down one of my favorite go to spots for a burrito. The STP is my favorite and absolute and the green sauce is on another level of tasty! Recommend Burrito Express to absolutely anyone looking for good food and a chill atmosphere. The lemonade they have is also!! Can’t say enough good things about Burrito Express. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.
