Hate to do it, but I was not impressed. In any way. It is small inside. So I had a Bogo coupon, as it has been years since going to University location, I figured, why not. New location, new cook? The only 2 burritos I cared to try, a beef green chilli and carne asada, that wasn’t on menu. There definitely was not enough meat in either burrito. The green chile I couldn’t even taste, not enough there. See pic. a few layers of tortilla rolled in there with a slim amount of meat!! Carne asada no better, no pic. I got just meat so flavor wouldn’t be masked, nada. No love. Apparently I haven’t missed a thing. Coupon got me in, but I wont be back. $9.00 bucks for one burrito, can’t do it. Sorry guys, step it up. Some burros is my green chile go to!! Yummy!! Good size, filling AND very tasty!! ❤️ Spot on!! Pic included to compare! You be the judge and try them both! You’ll see AND taste difference!!

Burrito Express in Tempe is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, the sweet lady up front taking our order was AMAZING—so kind, patient, helpful, and welcoming. Customer service like that truly makes a difference and sets the tone for the entire experience.
The management was just as impressive—very understanding and clearly focused on doing what’s best for the customer, which you don’t see everywhere these days. The food was great, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the overall experience was top-tier.
Great place, great food, even better people. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the Tempe area!

First time ever eating at a Burrito Express. Delicious Breakfast burrito. Eggs tasted homemade and the salsas are so flavorful! Excellent service. Guy today helped with my order. Saved me some money. Little things like that make you want to come back. 10 stars. Definitely coming back. Thank you!

The food is always amazing. When you place an online order, it estimates 15-20 minutes. Just a heads up, its usually 30+minutes, as “they don’t see the orders right away” so if you’re on a timed lunch break at work, this is not the place for you. But the food is always worth the wait
