Absolute disaster, will never return and do not recommend. This used to be a Korean-Mexican fusion place, but went through some changes. I went tonight to give it a shot and ordered the enchiladas. I’m still confused about what I got.

First of all, the food looked like it was made at Taco Bell. And it tasted like Taco Bell with the way it was made.

Second, these are not enchiladas. It was flour tortillas instead of corn. And there was NO SAUCE. Enchiladas literally means “in chile sauce” pero eran en-nada. There was no melted cheese. There was all this garnish on top and wish I was asked about it because the menu doesn’t mention sour cream and I am not a fan of sour cream.

In short, my ancestors are disappointed at this abomination. It lacked flavor. It had no sauce. The beans tasted like they were living in water for too long. The best part was the guac, and that’s not even relevant to the dish.

Worst part, I had been starving and waiting for dinner. Absolute regret. Didn’t even finish 1 of the 4 “enchiladas” and threw it away. Not worth the $17. Spend your money elsewhere!

Edit: in response to the comment below: I couldn’t ask for anything different/to he fixed because I got the order to go, had left, and was not going to drive back and find parking just to ask for anything. I don’t know how I could ask for “more” sauce when there was none to begin with.

I am from Berkeley and have seen far better Mexican places than this one. I ordered a super burrito with chicken. As a first-customer discount, I was expecting a good impression. My stomach and mouth disagreed.

Upon the first bite, the amount of drenched butter was overwhelming. The rice actually made me want to throw up. The atmosphere is quite dead, and I understand why—no music and no welcoming vibe.

I understand this is a new place, but the burrito without discounts comes out to $15, which is outrageous given the lack of quality and the small amount of protein. There are much better options that aren’t as frugal, and I’m willing to spend the same amount for both quality and quantity.

Don’t bother going there, or don’t get fooled like I did into thinking they couldn’t mess up a simple burrito. I was mistaken.

The guy was rude that was making the food. When I got there he was listening to music and I kept on having to repeat myself 3 times. The reward also says one free taco when I ordered so I did it and the guy there said no, and I explained that Snackpass had it like that, and he was like we don’t give free food out. With an attitude. I then ask him for salsa and he said there’s some in the bag (with attitude) and there was none in the bag, so I left and asked my male coworker to go in and ask for salsa and he gave him the salsa. So I’m not sure why he was being rude to me and wasn’t trying to hear me out and ignore me while I spoke.
First time I order from this place too since I work late and wanted to try it out but I got treated bad.
I ordered: Nachos (not good they were very poorly made)
I also ordered a Pizza Birria and the Birria sauce came with was such a small portion for two people but as I stated before the guy there was rude and didn’t want to give me anything (I wouldn’t have minded paying extra for it, but he was plainly rude.)

I’ve never had nachos made with the barest sprinkling of UNMELTED cheese before. The quality of food is markedly better than the Taco Bell across the street, but the preparation leaves a lot to be desired, and the price does not reflect the overall disappointing nature.

Delicious food! I really recommend the birria, it is so tender! Very kind and welcoming staff. 10/10. It’s halal so that’s a bonus too!
