Not your average tavern. The place itself is nicely laid out – didn’t feel like cramped at all. Food was delicious and the appetizers were amazing, plentiful. Our server was attentive as well.

We made a reservation for dinner at 6:45pm on Monday. They didn’t appear to be too busy but took a long time to sit down at the table. We saw the table was cleaned but it was sticky and the sofa was torn and very old. We don’t think it was the server’s fault but seemed like a lacking cooking staff. It took long just to get cocktails and also our food to be served. There was too much dressing with Caesar salad, Calamari was soft and not crispy and came with jalapeno which seemed strange, and Fish tacos. Overall, the food was okay but not so enjoyable.

We stopped in and sat at the bar. The drinks were good – I had a cucumber cocktail – yummy and not sweet. My friend enjoyed a glass of wine. We were disappointed with the food 🙁 We ordered a Beyond Burger and salad – iceberg lettuce 🙁 and a flat boring McD looking burger with NO side dish. It was disappointing. Setting is nice, service was good, drinks good, but food quality wasn’t what we’d hoped for.

Nice local eatery – not a big menu but what we had was well prepared. Avocado toast and Blackened Shrimp Street Tacos were nicely done and tasty. Relaxed atmosphere and good staff made this a great place to eat.

Make sure when you stop and you say hello to KITTY this amazing woman was our hostess, waitress and bargoddess. She is absolutely phenomenal. Once again, this is the first time I have ever been here even though I’ve known about this place for decades. It was such a treat.

So just recently started working in the Bainbridge area on Washington St. I call in for the Burntwood Burger which is amazing by the way. The service is all of what we should expect as consumers dinning out. AMAZING JOB ON THE BURGER and the Cheesecake was also made to perfection. Highly recommend to go see Megan she is soo friendly and courteous. I will be returning weekly. Thank you for attention even to the pick up customers, like myself!!!

I loved this place! Our party of 4 all felt the food was delicious and the service was great. The ambience is very rustic and gives you a warm inviting feeling. The wood floors were a bit slippery but that’s the worst I can comment on this joint. The town is quaint and adorable. We arrived right before the lunch rush and were very well taken care of. I suggest the Cedar Salmon or Prime Dip Sandwich — oh and their fries are really good. Yum!
