Classic American food with flare. Burntwood Tavern’s warm and inviting atmosphere is rich in character, and provides the perfect showcase for its straight forward, chef driven menu of smoked, planked, and wood grilled food. Handcrafted cocktails, constructed with fresh juices and house-infused vodkas, as well as offerings from a diverse craft draught beer list. If you’re looking for a heavy pour, you’ve found your place!

A group of us went to Burntwood Tavern on a Saturday evening and it was very nice. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, so we could hear each other talking. The food was great, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Our waitress was just awesome. She knew when to check in, made sure everyone has questions answered, and was the perfect amount of conversational. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for group gatherings or a quiet evening with someone special.

Great food and surprisingly not too busy for a larger group. Server was excellent and super supportive of our group. Made extra special care to someone that had a dietary restriction. Get the ranch, it’s great and the tots were different and delicious.

Spacious restaurant with friendly service! We loved the fried chicken sandwich. We appreciated that the slaw was fresh chopped veggies without being basted in mayo. Stopped in for lunch on a weekday and it wasn’t crowded. Quick service!

I was in tonight on the patio with my young family, and we had a server named Zachary who was the most well to do and most attentive young man. The food was good, always is. But the service was absolutely amazing. They are very lucky to have someone who represents the business so well.

We visited to celebrate my birthday and had a fantastic experience. Our 7 PM reservation was honored promptly, and we were seated right away. The hostess was incredibly kind and even wished me a happy birthday. Our server, Jessica, was outstanding—attentive, professional, and warm. She also wished me a happy birthday and surprised us with complimentary champagne. The food was absolutely delicious and very satisfying. I highly recommend this place!

We had a great meal here. The menu is smaller, but literally something for everyone! (Which is hard for us to find as a family of 8)… the service was exceptional! The host was unimpressed with my request for a table for 8, and kinda rolled his eyes at us. But.. we can move past that. Food did not take that long, and all came out hot and delicious. We were sat quickly, our server was so kind and helpful with the menu. If we come back to this area we will definitely stop back!

We walked in the door around 1:30 pm on a Tuesday afternoon. We stood at the hostess stand and looked around. The place was large with hardly anyone in there. There was probably close to 200 open seats. A server/bar tender came by with a tray of drinks and told us there was a 30 minute wait. ??? The place was almost completely empty. We left. Why don’t they just close the restaurant down if they can’t staff it. What a joke!

Ordered the chicken sandwich, perfect amount honey/hot. My 5 and 6 year old kids loved it! We also had the smash burger with secret sauce, also delicious with pickles on there. Hard to say which was better, but I think I would have to choose the chicken sandwich. The crispy fried edges that stick out of the bun are perfect flavor and texture.
Playground right outside was a big hit too

Unfortunately this location has declined over the years of us regularly dining here. This review has no reflection of our server as her job (and most certainly the case last night) relies on the kitchen. Let me begin by stating this was not a busy evening, as I’ve witnessed busier nights in the past, while also receiving great and hot food. We had been seated an hour and our food order, if it were too guess was placed about 15 mins after. Roughly 45 mins and still no food. We were not the only tables chattering amongst themselves about this very thing. We were very close to leaving when 2 items arrived. Margarita flatbread and Jambalaya. One bite of each cold. Cold rice, shrimp, and chicken. Immediately sent back and didn’t not want the Jambalaya remade. Flatbread was remade and brought back. It was eaten purly because we were hungry at this point but still not the quality I’ve had in previous visits. One order of chicken sliders was undercooked and cold. Fries were so floppy and limp and… you guessed it, cold. Another order of sliders came out and had the one item specifically requested to be removed due to an allergy. This order just so happen to be the birthday boys meal. Last to receive then had to be sent back. We were all done eating by the time his order came back. Going here has been a regular occurrence of my families for the past 5 years. It certainly always been my son’s choice for his birthday dinners, which was our reason for dinner last night. Sadly disappointed in the decline of quality of food.

Food was decent, but we’ve been in far cheaper places with far better food, at far cheaper price. But they made up with the ladies serving us there. They were so nice and lovely. The place also is really nice and located near the movie theater and the rest of the stores in the Plaza. The theme is like an old tavern or post apocalyptic tavern, in a state of deterioration in some desert somewhere. Great for young couples for a first date. For casual dressed code. But you can dress however you like. I did not visit the bathroom, but I do believe a saw a ramp there. So it should be OK for wheelchair availability. They do have a small lobby where you can have a nice drink by a fire during colder days. But also have a set of chairs and tables ready outside for a nice cool evening, during nice days out. They also have booths for a nice date night out.
