Review based on Ribs w/fries and corn on cob and Brisket w/ potato salad and slaw with appetizer of onion slivers.
Pros: Building was neat. Owners were very nice.
Cons: Food was barely rewarmed and not fresh BBQ. Fries and onion slivers were under cooked air fryer foods. Slaw and potato salad was bought, low grade sides. Brisket was fatty and ribs were very dry.
We went on a Sunday after church. Place was empty. Was excited for another restaurant in Savannah but will not be going back.

Great food with great staff. Had a group stop by and the waitress was wonderful. She was helpful, interactive with all of us, friendly and we got our food quickly. All employees were great to interact with. Good place for some good food and good times.

The BBQ is good (especially the burnt ends). The baked beans are very good. The potato salad is exceptionally good. The place is very clean. There are two TVs. Very nice place.

New management. They are pretty much starting from scratch. The food was delicious. Ribs were fall off bone tender and tasty. Coleslaw was fresh. Baked potato was seasoned and cooked well. Overall, it was a great meal.

The meat was tasty. I ordered burnt ends it was like 1850$ and it comes in to-go boxes. Super greasy. The beans were tasting just like pork and beans it was not worth what we paid. Lady had a sick of the public attitude. And said she doesn’t want to be in the business anymore. We were having a great day exploring and this place sounded good. It was a bad experience. For us. Won’t waste our money there ever again. Plastic and paper to eat off of. (joy)

Walking in I expected a more smoky aroma to waft around, there was none. We arrived half past Noon on a Saturday. I was surprised to be the only ones In the place. We ordered she got the Pulled pork and rib compo and I got the Burnt ends. they both came with two sides. She got Tots and Mac and cheese, and I chose the Potato salad and Baked beans. After we asked if the Pot salad was made there, it was store bought but the mac and cheese was made there. the beans seemed like out of a can .
The meal arrived in adequate time as the Tots had to be deep fried. Which they had a slight taste to it.. could have been the oil used. The Pulled pork and ribs was OK.. the sauce made them taste better. The burnt ends was tried without BBq Sauce at first, Not much of a smoky taste to it.
We both was full when we left…

Had the burnt ends with corn on the cob and potato salad as sides and mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. The burnt ends were rather bland. Some pieces were dry. They did not taste sweet at all. The potato salad and corn was really good. Corn was sweet enough that it didn’t need the butter. Would have liked to see a bread option. Had a strawberry cobbler for dessert. Wonderful. I’m sure the other meats are fine and some days it’s just an off day.
Parking is fine for being on the Square. Bathroom really clean and big for a solo bathroom.

The place is infested with roaches. Food isn’t stored or handled properly as nothing has a date nor is it kept at FDA standard temperature. Everything is reheated all week long and is never thrown away. The burnt ends are pre-made from factory. Nothing is smoked or grilled it is all liquid smoke and pressure cooked, or microwaved. The dishes are never washed with soap nor are they sanitized. There is something dead in the walls of the kitchen, and the owner does not care about the quality of service or the customers at all he just want the money. If you eat there your health is at risk. Do not give this place your business.

We went for lunch right around noon on a Tuesday. The brisket was dry and very bland. The burnt ends were not outstanding. The sides were very poor. The coleslaw was soggy, Mac and cheese tasted old and reheated. Baked beans and potato salad very generic store bought sides. Extremely overpriced for quality and portion. No bread served with the meat, just a cold stale bun upon request. They served all the food in paper baskets or styrofoam containers. Plastic utensils. Not eco friendly at all. For $18 a person, I would expect better food as well as reusable utensils/plates. Extremely unimpressed, will not return.

Looked at their menu online (google) before ordering to go, Asked for two burnt end with sides of baked beans, and potato salad. When I went in to pick up it was $40 and some change. I asked how $14.99 x 2 would come to $40…and was told burnt ends are 17.99. This review is based mostly on the fact that they don’t keep their online menu updated….but the food wasn’t anything spectacular either, especially not for the price. Was only given one kind of bbq sauce wasn’t offered anything different, and it wasn’t very good.
