Had great reviews so we went to check it out. I wanted 4.5 stars but couldn’t figure that out. LOL.
Brisket & sausage were great, let me try the corn special before I ordered it. It was a creamy spicy corn and delicious. Potato wedges were good and crispy. The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is the meat was cold. Almost like they had pulled the brisket from the fridge.. ? I didn’t mention it and would go back.

Great BBQ and burgers. We’ve been here at least 22x for company lunches. I always get the same steak burger, and it never fails to be good! The Chipotle BBQ sauce is great for dipping fries into as well.

Food was not horrible, but for the cost, almost $40, you can see that it was not much food. The bread and macaroni were cold.

Barbecue place featuring burnt ends. The sandwiches are generous sizes. I had one with burnt ends, coleslaw and onion straws that was good, but would have preferred pulled pork if they had that on the menu. The one I did get was good though. The side of beans was good too. They do have various platters.

Service was fast and friendly plus the food came out quickly. The space is pretty basic but large enough th hold a lot of people. They do have unsecured Wi-Fi for customers.

There was plenty of parking.

Honestly I’m ashamed I have yet to leave this place a review for many times I’ve been here.. I’ve been coming to Burnt Ends for years now and this place has been recommended to dozens of people looking for “good barbecue in Denver”.

So if that’s what you’re looking for; you found it. This place hits. Every. Single. Time. Everything is incredible. I dream about the Smothered burnt end fries so every now and then every we come and get a treat. Overall, if you’re thinking about going here for a bite, do yourself a favor and go.

Worst bbq I’ve had. I ordered burnt ends and this is what I got…cut up pork chucks with no flavor and they forgot my bbq sauce in the order.

I decided to go ahead and try the burnt ends. As a Bama Belle, I am very discriminating when it comes to BBQ. Since this is about Burnt Ends I will not name the ONLY place in Denver I normally get BBQ from. But hunni I have been sleeping on Burnt Ends. I wanted the burnt ends but they were sold out. So I did what any southern woman of her salt would do, and ordered the Mile High sandwich (pulled pork). The vinegar on the coleslaw told me someone has southern roots. The bun was grilled to perfection. Just enough to hold the coleslaw and the deliciousness that is the pulled pork nice and tender. Topped off with……crispy fried onions. Yes I know. I was gagged. 10/10 Signed, Bama’s finest .

We love the food here! We dine-in often. Today was even better and quite special. We were a party of 3. One person is hard of hearing, another person has a very soft voice due to a medical condition. The background music was kind of loud.

I inquired if the music could be adjusted and Ralph, the manager, took care of it. His kindness made conversation much easier. Thank you, Ralph!

Stopped in for a quick lunch, and can’t wait to go back. The beef burnt ends were amazing! I wish I would’ve tried something else, but that’s all I had time for. I really liked one of the barbecue sauces, and even enjoyed the piece of toast that comes with it. I dipped it in ranch, and it was great ranch also! Highly recommended and I will be back soon!

Don’t waste your money.

Delivery order:

Starting with the good stuff. Sausage and pulled chicken were good. So were the beans.

Bad stuff: Ribs were unacceptable. Chewy and tough, and they didn’t pull off the bottom membrane before cooking: this is day 1 bbq stuff. Pork burnt ends were the same, tough and chewy. Bbq sauce sides are tiny, not enough for the food. Paid $8 each for cup-size sides, but the cup delis were literally only half full. Nothing particularly wrong with the creamy slaw, just bland.

Overall, the value was not there. They are charging A+ prices for D- food. Only in Denver could a bbq place be this bad. They would be run out of Texas or Tennessee on a rail.
