Brisket & sausage were great, let me try the corn special before I ordered it. It was a creamy spicy corn and delicious. Potato wedges were good and crispy. The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is the meat was cold. Almost like they had pulled the brisket from the fridge.. ? I didn’t mention it and would go back.
Service was fast and friendly plus the food came out quickly. The space is pretty basic but large enough th hold a lot of people. They do have unsecured Wi-Fi for customers.
There was plenty of parking.
So if that’s what you’re looking for; you found it. This place hits. Every. Single. Time. Everything is incredible. I dream about the Smothered burnt end fries so every now and then every we come and get a treat. Overall, if you’re thinking about going here for a bite, do yourself a favor and go.
I inquired if the music could be adjusted and Ralph, the manager, took care of it. His kindness made conversation much easier. Thank you, Ralph!
Delivery order:
Starting with the good stuff. Sausage and pulled chicken were good. So were the beans.
Bad stuff: Ribs were unacceptable. Chewy and tough, and they didn’t pull off the bottom membrane before cooking: this is day 1 bbq stuff. Pork burnt ends were the same, tough and chewy. Bbq sauce sides are tiny, not enough for the food. Paid $8 each for cup-size sides, but the cup delis were literally only half full. Nothing particularly wrong with the creamy slaw, just bland.
Overall, the value was not there. They are charging A+ prices for D- food. Only in Denver could a bbq place be this bad. They would be run out of Texas or Tennessee on a rail.
