This property is really interesting. It is a stop for many UTV drivers.
There are two buildings one is an outdoor bar. That is a small building up on a hill, which has amazing views. The tavern itself is small and cozy inside with really cool log/wood furniture/tables and chairs.
Overall, a five star for atmosphere. Here is the part that isn’t so good and which is very disappointing.
They seem to be understaffed, but this is the second time I’ve been here so really there’s no excuses. There was two women in front of me and my boyfriend. It took over 15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge that we wanted to sit down for a meals. The woman kept walking by completely, ignoring the fact that we were all standing there. In fact, there’s really nowhere to stand you kind of stand in between the bar and the dining tables. Finally, the bartender told us we can sit at the table that was right by us. She brought us some menus got us some drinks and we ordered quickly because we figured if we didn’t we wouldn’t eat at all anytime soon. My boyfriend being a diabetic needed to eat. We ordered chili; good, hardy, but it lacked flavor. We also ordered a pizza that again lacked flavor, but it had an ok amount of toppings, but they were not evenly spread. I had to put a lot of Parmesan just to get even somewhat of good flavor. My boyfriend‘s sandwich was also mediocre. Very disappointing since we drove over 45 minutes to get there. You know what we might try it again because I believe in giving a place three tries.
Seriously, though as an owner, you should have your staff greet people whether you’re busy or not. We could see if she was busy but a simple hey take a seat wherever you like or I’ll be right with you. Goes a long way.

Had to take a trip for lunch on a Thursday when the bear paws are bring served!!! You ask whats a bear paw? WELL….. it’s a deep fried calzone filled with your choice of pizza toppings! Also had to have my favorite appetizer, the fried shrooms. Husband ordered the Italian beef sandwich which is always delicious!
Also, wasn’t busy on the day we went, great and fast service as well!

What a great discovery in the Northwoods!! First time here and I highly recommend! Kim, our waitress, was so friendly and attentive. The patty melt, home made fries, bacon chicken wrap, and tator tots were all outstanding! I can’t wait to come back the next time we are in town! Thanks again for the northwoods hospitality!

Beautiful setting for a log cabin and restaurant tucked into the tall pine trees. Food was great. A lot of rustic charm inside. We tried the grilled chicken and Wisconsin burger. The service was super friendly and inviting. We will certainly be back.

This is a beautiful bar in a gorgeous setting. We had the Thu/Sat special Bear Paw and it was amazing. First time that we saw the deer too. A great night.

During a break from upland hunting, I stumbled upon Burnt Bridge Tavern one afternoon, desperate for a bite to eat. Initially, I hesitated to enter, mistaking the lively atmosphere for a private event. However, I was quickly and warmly welcomed by a friendly group of Packers fans, which set the tone for my entire visit. The tavern exudes a fantastic, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. So much so that I ended up returning every day for lunch during my vacation and hunting trip. One of the highlights was bringing my girls along for lunch one day. The pretzel quickly became a family favorite, and the girls couldn’t get enough of the cheese pizza.Burnt Bridge Tavern is an absolute must-visit, especially in the fall. Whether you’re a hunter looking for a cozy spot to unwind or a family in search of delicious eats, this place has it all. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!

Don’t even go in, go to the stand-alone bar with a view of the marsh. It was fabulous. Anything old fashioned should be ordered for drinks–I love the sour with olives. Order the pretzel and the frog legs for sure. Anything else is good including the gluten free pizza–what a treat! Sitting around a campfire and driving on backroads made this the perfect place to end a day at the lake.
