This is now our number 1 go to for Friday night date night. The food is so flavorful, the customer service is amazing and the location makes it easy to get to with a drive thru too.
Burning Wok is the only place we will go to for our Chinese food cravings. They are simply the best!

For some time I’d seen the sign and work going into putting this humble road side eatery together. Today I was unsure what to eat and made a very rewarding decision to check if this easily accessible eatery was open for service.
I decided to try the drive thru, I was greeted by a friendly staff member over the voice box and a large clear menu of the offerings.
I ordered Mongolian beef, which comes with rice, and a side of edamame. I paid easily at the window, a rather typical drive thru experience. The staff member was kind and well spoken, taking payment as usual…and that’s what it was usual…until the food was handed to me. Though I’m not sure if it’s a special item for the grand opening I immediately took notice of the reusable bag and the strong, but tantalizing aroma of my food coming from it. While most places are rather muted this food caught the senses even from within the bag.
I was ecstatic to get home, a short drive later and I opened the items and knew I had to snap photos for a review. The boxes were hot, nothing I was about to eat was remotely cold. I quickly took shots and had to dive into the food.
The edamame was reasonably seasoned and well cooked and a great appetizer. The Mongolian beef had a subtle heat and great flavor. It was tender, juicy, and the sauce it was cooked in paired excellently.
The food takes some patience as everything was prepared fresh from what I could tell, but it was well worth the stop and you can bet I’ll go back for a quick bite and great food!

The staff here were polite and helpful and the dining room is clean and well lit. Unfortunately, the food is awful.
The edamame was hot and well salted but the orange chicken and hunan beef as off-putting. My four year old remarked “I’m still kind of hungry, but I’m done.”
The crab rangoon skins were soft and chewy rather than hot and crispy, and the ratio of filling to breading was absurdly low. Rice was bland and uninspiring.

Staff are attentive and polite, I always patronize new local businesses as we should all support our community. The food was fresh and tasty, prices was very affordable. #SupportSmallBusiness #SupportLocal… they also have a very convenient drive-thru and I hope this place lasts longer than all the other places that was here before… I’m rooting for you Burning Wok! MUST VISIT…

this is close by and the name was caught my attention. i was thinking it was going to be like genghis grill based on the name but a quick peek on their website made we realize it would not so didn’t go in expecting something different than it was. the building used to be a del taco and their layout was very odd. burning wok has that same odd shape. we ordered the soup and an entree (kung pao). both were good. kind of panda express like but felt more fresh and less saturated in sauce. the young lady who rang us up was very nice. she brought us our food and later checked to see if we needed anything which is uncommon for basically as fast food restaurant. the prices were pretty good for what you got. i’d go again.

Burning Wok is finally open in Henderson at the former Del Taco! Restaurant is very clean with great food options. Burning Wok also has a drive-thru option, which makes getting food here very convenient. Great alternative to Panda Express, which is a mile away down Sunset. Food was delicious and well priced. Restaurant is fully renovated as well. A few things that would make this restaurant better include wall decor as the restaurant feels very sterile (although still a very clean restaurant) and fountain drinks. It would be nice to have fountain drinks. All their drinks are only available as bottled drinks with a water dispenser available. Other than that, great food and a very friendly staff. Welcome to Henderson, Burning Wok!

Stopped by on a Monday night to place a to go order, guy at the counter was super nice and welcoming. Inside wasn’t huge but plenty of booths to sit down and have a quick bite- they also have a drive through for convenience. I got sesame chicken with fried rice, crab rangoons, and chicken wonton soup. The prices are very fair, I spent less than $20 for everything and didn’t even finish it in 1 sitting- $3 for the soup, $5 for 4 rangoons, almost all the entrees are under $10. Definitely will stop back in and try some more of the menu.

Fresh ingredients, fired to order! Good portions, great prices, and a drive thru. We will definitely work our way through the different entree choices and appetizers. Staff was amazing and opening was worth the wait.
