There are a lot of other Burney’s across NC. However the Burney’s in Hampstead is by far the best I have had yet! Super fresh and super good!
The staff is super happy and super helpful. I like to get an assorted box a few days a weeks to give to our customers. I paid less than $25 for all the you see! What a Super Bargain for Ultra Quality Baked Goods! Yum!

This was the highlight of my visit to the Wilmington area. Their stuffed croissants came highly recommended and did not disappoint!! The charming, affable owner recommended a sample before I ordered, to help gauge the flavor and taste of the dough. Great coffee as well, which is a must with any of the sweet pastries. My only disappointment is that I could only get there once during my visit. I wish them all the success in the world!!

Recommended by a local, we stopped in for a breakfast treat on the way home. We ordered bacon, egg and cheese wraps but there was an oopsie and they were sausage. Still very good though. We got 6 fancy croissants as well… 2 maple bacon, one cream, one turtle, one s’mores and a peanut butter. Oh my goodness they were all so good! Not sure how they get them stuffed with the filling. My fav ended up being the maple bacon and secon the peanut butter. We also got a chocolate and cream trumpet. The chocolate was the best. It had the most flavor contrast. The cream was really sweet. Now I know why the locals like it! The cakes in the refrigerator looked amazing and prices were reasonable. Would definitely get cakes from then for special occasions. Give it a try!
