I completely fell in love with this place. They opened at 7 am, when no others were open. There was a friendly atmosphere. They pastries were absolutely beautiful. While they did not have donuts, they had glazed donut holes. They were amazing, different types of croissants. It got a butter cream croissant. It was wonderful sweet and amazing. They had strawberry, turtle, and various other flavors.

The three inch key line mini pie. It has a good lime flavor and graham cracker crust. It’s not a custard filling, but a creamy one. The sweet tea is good. They have a variety of filled croissants that are very good as well.

My mother-in-law just moved to Elizabethtown and for Mother’s Day we wanted to send her a gift card for one of her favorite restaurants. Elizabethtown doesn’t have her fav chain restaurants. Burney’s bakery popped up in the search, photos and reviews looked good. I called them and they were amazing, great customer service! We don’t live anywhere near Elizabethtown, I was able to purchase a gift card over the phone and they mailed it to her with a personalized message. We visited Elizabethtown last weekend and tried Burney’s for the first time. Did not disappoint!! All the girls working there were very sweet. We had to try a little bit of everything, croissants, lemon bars, turtle cheesecake and chocolate strawberries. I love supporting local and hope Burney’s bakery will come to the Triad!
