Hubby stopped and got a dozen butter cream “filled” croissants and a bag of chocolate chip cookies. The cookies were fine, tasted great. My complaint is the cream “filled” croissants. In the past, they were delicious, cream filled from end to end. This visit the croissants weren’t up to standard. On first glance they look perfect, but once broke open/tore in half there is no cream except right in the middle. Not sure if its a new person or somebody in a rush, etc. But don’t call a croissant cream “filled”when it’s just a splat in the middle. Hopefully, it’s just a bad batch. But wanted to make it known to the owners/staff.

First time going to Burney’s in Erwin for donuts. Amanda was so nice and kind and helpful! The staff at my mother‘s nursing home really enjoyed the glazed and chocolate donuts. So glad to know that they are close by!

Went with my husband whom has not really ever been to this establishment who just wanted to get like 4 croissants as a gift for someone but didn’t know how they were sold so he asked she repeated with an attitude what do you want to get this was an older lady and usually when I go it’s younger girls with better attitudes .. he said let me get four then because she wasn’t helpful at all and stayed clear as to what do you want .. with that being said I was gonna by a dozen croissants for my work when I went in at 1 I chose differently with her attitude to take my business elsewhere to sherrys bakery in Dunn.. if she is working because she is bored being at home tell her to stay home with that attitude!! Yall lost my sale when she was rude to my husband!!

Let me tell you, Burney’s is a 1 hour round trip for me to get a box of these incredible croissant donut things and I will do it again! They are so delicious!! I haven’t tried anything else there yet but the croissants I had were filled with apple and cherry and I had some plain glazed. My Ecole family loved them. They are moist, soft, and delicious!! So scrumptious!

Burneys is amazing! Anytime we’re in NC, we visit the Erwin location. The staff is always so friendly and helpful and there is nothing like the stuffed croissants, they are amazing! Especially the Turtle ones!!!

We love to get pastries from here after going on a bike ride. Our favorite ones are the croissants ! They are soft and bursting with flavor. They also have other baked goods and drinks available like donuts, apple fritters, coffee, etc.

An absolute gem of Harnett county, dare I say, all of NC. The croissants are so delicious!! Tried the regular glaze, went back and bought a dozen of each filled croissant to try…absolutely incredible. Friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, no question that I’ll be going here instead of Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts.

I traveled two thousand miles plus to a family event at the Indigo Room in Erwin, NC on January 28, 2023. During the event I noticed a few people constantly going in and out next door to Burney’s Sweets & More, Suite 121, Erwin, NC 28339. Therefore, I decided to visit since I was in town to browse their selections of pastries. While in the store a African-American female came in and asked a young white female what time would the pastries be priced half. The business will reduce the price at a specific time to keep from tossing them. She asked the white female three times and she would say in a very irate tone “I don’t know.” The white female showed a gross display of such racism and customer service skills her coworker had to intervene. Not surprising this might be why the city is not progressive because of the continuous “Jim Crow Era” attitudes towards people of color.
