Wow. We got coconut chicken curry and it was disgusting. Horrible. Had a faint scent of curry but mostly we both recoiled at the horrible smell of greasy bird swimming in brownish/yellow oil. We got as far as adding rice to a bowl and spooning some malodorous liquid onto it before both of us were too grossed out by the smell to continue. One of us did taste and thank god it wasn’t me. I wouldn’t feed this to my dog. I’m serious. Will never ever order from here again. We also ordered a burrito which was average and some roti with sauce which was pretty good but came in this huge container with about 4 little pieces of bread in it. What a joke.

Whenever I’m in the area this is an absolute must go to restaurant for me. Everything is good, but the garlic fries are the best I’ve ever ever ever ever ever tasted. They are not soggy like most other garlic fries. They say crispy and they are absolutely flavorful. I definitely recommend them. I Really like ginger beer So that combination is a good one for me.

This was a hype but also kinda a good bite. It has potential to be dope. Out of 5 this was a strong 3 I like how friendly the staff is. I came in thinking I was going to get Indian food but it was more like a Asian/Indian fusion, the concept is really dope but, the food was mid the Thai tea had too much dairy the fries were overpriced and not seasoned the portions were good.. Parking is a bit tricky and its no where to dine in.

Beware if you have celiac disease. Dishes labeled gluten free are not fried in a dedicated fryer so there is cross contamination and I got very sick from eating here. The food was delicious, but not suitable if you can’t have gluten.

We just had a fabulous lunch at Burma Bites on Telegraph Avenue in Oakland. The Rainbow Salad was phenomenal! We also ordered the fried string beans that were also perfectly prepared crisp and seasoned.

Had the Burmese chicken and eggs fried rice with Burmese milk Tea. The service was fast and good. The staff is very friendly and professional. I didn’t like the fried rice much, but I realized half way through eating it that the rice was brown rice. So it’s my fault for not reading it. The Thai was really good though. I’ll come back again and try a different dish next time.
Still I ate it all, overall good vibes. Definitely recommend

It’s only a takeout place. Since Burma superstar was delicious. We ordered items from here thinking of the same quality. We had Samosa, which was too oily but tasted good. Then we ordered spicy tofu which was terrible and then we ordered some chicken sandwich. It was disgusting. I still give a three star because probably we ordered the wrong items here. I’m going to try it one more time different items and see where it goes.

Garlic fries are amazing. Fiery tofu was good too. Garlic noodles were soggy and gross, like overcooked spaghetti. Weird that they are completely different from Superstar’s recipe even though they are supposedly the same brand/owners. Fried rice was pretty boring and bland, might as well just get a side of plain rice for 1/4 of the price.

I love the coconut rice with mint chicken, it’s a combination of sweet rice with spicy chicken that is awesome.

Thank you for filling portions and great gluten free fried chicken. Burma bites has become one of my favorite take out places during this pandemic. As a busy artist, I love being able to order and get my food so quickly. Everything I’ve had I really like. Yesterday I got mint chicken and it was really great but definitely didn’t taste like it had mint. I added my own fresh mint from my garden and it was perfect. Good job Burma Bites. Thanks for being here
