Looked on Google for a place to eat and saw everyone else’s pics so decided to go. Nice quiet place to eat. Wings were good and crisp and the hostess was pretty awesome and patient.
Wings were HOT out the frier and the wet and dry sauces were great. We tried the birthday cake waffle and it was very rich.

The potato wedge fries had to be my favorite hands down. The buffalo hot boneless wings were hot but definitely a good flavor. The lemon pepper wings were almost a little too much seasoning.
The strawberry shortcake waffle was pretty good. I would recommend maybe offering a strawberry syrup. While the cookie butter was a different twist, overall the waffle was pretty dry.
If we come back we’ll definitely be trying different wing flavors because the chicken was cooked well!

This was our first time ordering from Burly Bird. I told the young lady on the phone it was our first time. My husband picked up the food and said they were so nice! My pics do not do it justice, but it was very good. We ordered plain bone in wings with buffalo sauce at the side, and a order of waffle fries. We will definitely be back. Can’t wait to try different flavors.

Sunday 1.24.2021 around 4:50pm. We went here for the first time today and got the strawberry mojito, mango green tea, birthday cake waffle, and strawberry banana Nutella waffle to go. Everything was tasty. The drinks were refreshing with lots of fruit bits on the bottom. The waffles were slightly crispy on the outside, which were very similar to the street waffles I had in Brussels. The girl at the counter was nice and got our order right. However, she forgot to add whipped cream (to my Nutella waffle) and the cherry to the the birthday cake waffle. Once again, the flavor and texture were enjoyable. We waited at least 12 min for our order, and we were the only order they had. There were three employees total at the time. The two guys in the kitchen came out and chatted with the girl about personal matters for a couple of minutes, which distracted her and ultimately she forgot some toppings. Lol. I would recommend this place, but next time I would open the to go box to check for all the goodies :p

This used to be the place we came to once a week. The food was awesome. However, every order we have placed in the last few months have been wrong or not made properly.
We are usually not complainers so we just ate the food and kept ordering from there. Tonight however I placed an order for the garlic and parmesan wings and although they were cooked, there was nothing on them. Nothing. They tasted like a greasy piece of chicken. Not the garlic and Parmesan that I have ordered from them literally dozens of times in the past. This is the last order that they will mess up for us.

We go every couple months because it’s real close. They were closed today for no reason. They also have no fountain drinks. Kid that works front is quiet but nice enough. Their boneless wings and waffles are great.

The young kid at the front was so rude and dismissive, we almost walked out before ordering. He was playing a shooter game on his IPad and was annoyed that we were interrupting him. Only thing he said to us was “we are out of waffles”. The wings were really fresh and crispy, so I am glad we stayed. Another guy clocked in right as we were leaving and he was really nice, so I’m sure this other kid was someone in the family mad he had to work! . It was also really warm inside and the drinks we got from the fridge were not cold. Had to interrupt grumpy again for a cup of ice. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back, but it was pretty good!

Honestly, I’ve been waiting for a place like this to hit Burleson. The food is absolutely delicious. I love the wings and the waffles! Both were super flavorful! I got the Thai and sriracha bbq wings and the strawberry shortcake waffles. Curious how the other flavors are!
If you get a chance, I’d suggest trying the teas! They were wonderful and super refreshing!
