Dinner at Burlingame was a treat and set the tone for a memorable celebration. I had the Wagyu steak special, and it was outstanding—beautifully prepared, rich, and incredibly flavorful. We also shared the escargot, which was indulgent, perfectly seasoned, and downright delicious.

Went for a nice couples dinner. Food was mixed, with some lows and a few oks. Service was below average except for the very high bus who cleared out silverware twice much to our amusement. Perhaps you have to know someone but $95 per person (no alcohol) should feel a little nicer than “well, glad we didn’t have to do dishes but what a waste.”

The staff is delightful and works together like a well oiled machine to ensure the ultimate dining experience. They’re friendly, attentive, knowledgeable of the menu options. and make you feel like a valued guest from arrival to departure. The ambiance is perfect as well. We were pleasantly surprised at dinner this evening. The Burlingame menu looked so conventional online that we doubted it would be good. We were wrong. Preparation was very well thought-out and service was excellent. The taste of our steak frites and gumbo were both mouth watering – much better than average, with tenderness and well-balanced flavors. The lemon meringue dessert was perfect – even reminded me of my Mom’s key lime pie. Our cocktails were very well made and our sever didn’t even blink when I asked to change the glass of red wine I ordered.
All of this just to say that if you’re on Amelia Island, don’t miss Burlingame. You won’t be disappointed.

10/10! The food was absolutely amazing and the staff was wonderful. Every member you walked by greeted you with a smile. Very unique flavors combined on every plate we ordered. Even the vegetarian option had a variety of flavors that somehow didn’t override one another. The location is beautiful, and the outdoor seating was surprisingly bareable for Florida in a 90°F+ day. The food is on the more expensive side and the portions are a bit small in comparison to your less expensive restaurants, but the portions don’t leave you hungry as they are portioned to what you should eat, you’re just unlikely to have leftovers.

it’s a lovely space- I had the fish special which was scottish salmon and it came with a white bean stew of sorts that needed a bit more cooking – the beans were a tad underdone. had a great cocktail but was disappointed to learn they dont make fresh whipped cream for their desserts. I find it hard to believe a restaurant at this level cant make real whipped cream for their desserts – a major knock against going back in my opinion. If I am going to spend $100 a person, the least you can do is whip up some fresh cream….anyway, won’t be going back. It was tasty but not so much I’d go back.

This is the best restaurant in Fernandina Beach, in my opinion. We had an absolutely fantastic NYE dinner here. Food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all exceptional. The food was just incredible. I had the strip steak and my wife had the salmon. We also had the octopus app and the Coffee & Donuts dessert. Wow. Everything was delicious from beginning to end.

Fantastic is an understatement. My wife and I have dined here several times and the food has always been stellar. We recently went to another high end Amelia restaurant and quickly realized we should have booked our New Year’s Eve dinner at burlingame. The food, service and atmosphere is always spot on. So much so, that we booked them for our wedding reception on 12.20.24. We cannot wait to return and enjoy their amazing creations.

We had really high hopes for this place, but found it to be over rated. We had a reservation, but I felt like the wait staff kind of forgot about us. We ordered 3 starts and 2 mains. One of our starters (french fries) were served pretty cold and reheated. The mains were all right, but we weren’t overly impressed.
Service was not great; at one point they gave us all new silverware, and then 10 minutes later came and took it away before we had used it. We were told twice that they were “just plating our food” but the second time I was sort of suspicious that they had forgotten us. Later, when our mains arrived we had to flag down someone else to get silverware again.
When I asked for a box for an unfinished portion, the busser asked who our server was and then stood there and yelled out their name to bring us a box- which, I guess I could have done on my own.

Cozy, small setting with outstanding staff. Wife and I have visited once a year about 4 times now. We look forward to it. Excellent menu selections, fresh oysters, and good cocktails. Our 5th visit will be in a few weeks. Didn’t mean to take so long to leave a review.
