It’s open under new management as of October 1st.
We had the lunch special, which was great. The fried cabbage was awesome, I could’ve made a meal outta it.
It has new hour’s of operations.

We were out to visit nearby Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, but the on-site restaurant was a bit too expensive for us, so we checked google for other local options. The Burgin Depot looked like a friendly spot for a hungry family, and we were well satisfied with our choice. It’s not a fine dining experience – if that’s what you’re looking for, you’ll be disappointed – but the food was tasty and prepared quickly, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and it kind of felt a little like eating at home in all the best ways. We were comfortable and well cared for, and Kim kept the pickles flowing our youngest (and pickiest!) eater. We were a little early for the Friday all-you-can-eat catfish buffet, and the kids were sad that we’re going to miss all-day breakfast tomorrow, but the 95 minute commute kind of limits our patronage. I got the feeling they cater more to locals than tourists, but those are my favorite spots. Prices are good, service is warmly casual, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I’d definitely go back again.

Best kept secret in bergen and harridsburg area.And that’s the biggest problem. Very important for the community to have this restaurant. Viable, people come for the camaraderie and friendships that are developed in the restaurant more than the food. Employees are very friendly and willing to help the customer in any way
