There is really no indoor seating. So if it’s very cold or hot, it would be a little hard to eat here . They have benches that are covered, very small indoor area, and a bathroom. Water or soft drinks come in bottle/can.
I liked the food and service was very nice. We got the liberty smash burger . Fries were good too. Overall I really liked the concept and their food! $50 for two people including tip.

I just had the best meal and beers here. The beer garden concept is great too! They have a tv outside where a game could be put on. The brewmaster really knows what he is doing because everything was very close to Bavarian favorites that I enjoy in Europe. The staff was very friendly too! The burger was amazing, and I never knew I was missing out with pierogis on the side. Loving it here! I will be back!

Wow, Burghers was amazing! We enjoyed lunch here after a campus tour at Duquesne University. The BBBG team took time to understand my food allergies. They prepared my meal with care and kindness! The Green Tree Bowl was delicious and safe. My family thoroughly enjoyed their burgers and fries. The garden and music selection perfectly complimented the experience. Thank you!!

We had a smashing good time at Burghers Beer Garden with Brittany! It was our 2nd stop on a brewery tour and it was by far the best! We sampled all 10 beers + a bonus beer. They were all excellent. The burgers, fries & pierogis were delicious. And the service was top notch. I only wish we were not out of towners and could make this our regular hang out.

If you’re on a never-ending quest for the best smash burger like I was, STOP RIGHT NOW — the burger gods have answered. We hit up this convenient little burger spot and it was everything: food hot ash, right iff the grill…. music so good you almost forget you’re stuffing your face, and customer service that felt like being welcomed by an old friend who also happens to know their way around a flat top grill.
We got two Oakland burgers (smashed to absolute perfection), fries so crispy they could be ASMR content, Joe’s Peach Tea (elite), a bottle of classic Root Beer (Red Ribbon knows what’s up), mojo sauce, AND burgher sauce. Picky boyfriend approved — and trust me, that’s harder to accomplish than finding a parking spot in Southside on a Saturday night.
The person running the place? Cool as hell. The type of cool where you instantly want to be friends. We didn’t just eat — we demolished every last crumb. If you leave even a fry behind, you’re doing life wrong.

10/10. Best smash burger I’ve had after months of searching.

Love that Burghers sources their beef and ingredients locally, fresh never frozen. For people who eat clean, it’s the best burger bet in Pittsburgh… and the best GF burger and bun in the city! Brittany’s attention to detail is what makes you want to return to this location again and again.

I work near here so after running into one of the owners and chef over the weekend, figured I’d try it. Absolutely love it! Had the Liberty and the Shady side so far. Great tasting food! Service is excellent, fast and friendly! Looking forward to trying all the smash burghers!

The service was very quick and nice. I liked the beer garden a lot. The only downside is that it is such a small building, so when it is so hot out, there isn’t a large air conditioned space. We didn’t eat, but the burgers did look good.

Burghers is an outstanding hidden gem on the Highline. The food is excellent, and Brittni, who works at the Southside location, illuminates the atmosphere with her great personality, and killer taste in music. Would absolutely recommend one hundred times over to anyone looking for some good food, great beers, and some Pittsburgh hospitality.
