Hello and welcome to the PDX Burgerville. When you know, you know ;-). Iconic to Portland tradition with locally sourced ingredients, Burgerville embodies the true essence of a fast food restaurant and burger spot that is a go to for PDX travelers leaving, flying in, or passing through the Portland airport.
Located in the D gate wing of the airport, this place is always a go to. They have a wide selection of food offerings and some great new options based upon the season. Always made fresh, their burgers, shakes, and waffle fries are delicious. I tend to lean toward their colossal burgers since I like the meat to bun ratio, but I never forget to add extra lettuce, extra tomato, pickles, and the sweet treat of grilled onions!
If you need to wet your whistle, they have a drink fountain so you can make the soda combo of your choice or get a refill if you need a bit more to top off. They also have a case of cold packed drinks and items to grab and go if you are in a hurry and want something with a lid to enjoy on the plane. There are many tables to sit at in the open area in front of the restaurant if you want to relax and enjoy your meal, waiting for your gate to make the boarding call. The fresh wild caught fish and chips is a perfect treat and they even do mini fish sandwich sliders if you want a quick pescatarian bite. They have veggie burgers for those who don’t do meat but want a good protein option and wow are their shakes tasty!
One other big plus is their prices are very reasonable considering the location and that you’re in an airport. (Which typically means 2x the cost of food, but this is not the case with Burgerville.)
If you are new to visiting Oregon and want a local treat, or forgot to try it while you were in town, I highly recommend stopping in at the PDX Airport Burgerville location to grab one of Oregon’s favorite American food delights. I’m sure you won’t regret it.

Friendly service and relatively quick, less than 10 minutes from queue to take away. “Colossal” Burger ($7.19) was not large at all as an apparent upgrade from the cheeseburger. Meat patty lacked flavor and there were hints of fishy flavor from something. Kind of disappointing. However, bun, lettuce, and tomato were fairly nice and it wasn’t overly salty. Not a fan of the mayo-type sauce they used. Fries looked and smelled good, but I only ordered a sandwich. Easy seating nearby was another bonus.

So good for the airport. Super clean store, hot and tasty food, and their staff are so friendly. Even at 6 am, our cashier/host Sandra, as well as the entire staff, were so incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. They wished us a great day, welcomed us in, and brought so much energy. Made my morning so much better. Thank you Sandra and team!!

Was waiting for a flight decided to grab a quick bite to eat. They had an easy to read menu, with a smiling face to receive your order. My order was done in six mins. Both burgers were hot with fresh veggies on them. The meat was actual meat. Bacon was cooked well. A bit too much mayonnaise for my taste. All in all, a decent burger for a decent price. Would buy another one. Wife also enjoyed hers.

Waffley fries are pretty good.. not too hard not soft. Strawberry lemonade is pretty sour but have bites of strawberries. Regular straw will not work to suck strawberry chunks. No.6 burger is pretty good, patty is very juicy inside. Bit more veg will be good. For almost $8, I don’t know if its size is small? My personal thought..

Great burger and fries, a little bit above your usual fast food with options for grass fed burgers. The staff was excellent, going so far as to make me a fresh batch of waffle fries so they were hot.
The milkshake was excellent (although the straws provided were not strong enough and I went through 3 of them) and the waffle fries were great. The burgers (hopyard cheddar burger & the double cheeseburger) were fine, about what your expect from fast food burger.

Love these lil greasers, but not quite as juicy greaser as I remember and love but still good grab if in the airport. Fat Jo jos were good but the fries never realized how terrible they are, not sure if ever got before now. But the lil cheap double or single burgers are my jam, I don’t even look at the larger burger menu

Chicken sandwich and coffee milkshake where ok but this was their sad excuse for French toast. Grease filled soggy bread with powdered sugar. Hash brown was undercooked and soggy as well. And they where out of salt for it. Service was pretty usual for early morning fast food. Kids who are not quite awake yet and regretting the decisions they made the night before, non communicative but efficient. Atmosphere is the airport, loud and crappy metal seats but it’s the airport so not expecting cush tables.

Burger was good as were the fries. Service was fine. Had about 8 people in front of me and the wait was not bad. Drink machine was out of order (again). Don’t know if that is vendor or management issue. As with most airport locations, seating was limited and dirty. Price is what you expect for the location.
