Perhaps one of the best donuts ever. It is deep fried so it is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I had bought them for my kids as a treat and was going to sample just a bite, but it was so good I ate a whole one myself. Whoops.

The burger was about 2 inches in diameter, and basically raw.. for 7 bucks.. but then upgraded to a meal.. the burger tasted like it was cooked on a grill with many years of dirty oil.. the chili cheese dog.. might as well say it was barely cooked.. the donut.. the worst thing of all of this.. and they were all terrible. The donut was just a grease filled spongey vessel.. sadly I was hoping for better.. but ew. Just ew.

21$ for 2 sliders, fries and a fountain drink not including tax or tip. Not only did it take an excessively long time to come out, the cooks aren’t wearing any form of head wear while preparing the food; which is concerning when you can see all of the straggle hairs swaying with every movement on one of the cooks head. Either prices need to come down, or portions need to grow. Until then, it’ll be hard leaving this establishment without feeling like you just got played!

I waited 25 minutes for a comically small burger. The price of a combo is outrageous compared to the food portions they give. The employees were either poorly trained or entirely indifferent on making orders. This business feels like a low quality corporate attempt of taking more money from people visiting Lackawanna

Burgers Donuts Potatoes (or BDP) is suspiciously the same acronym as the Lackawanna Plaza redeveloper BDP Holdings.
They specialize in burgers, donuts, and potatoes (i.e. French fries). Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I think it was all for the acronym.
I think they’re still in their soft open phase because I’m not sure if they serve burgers yet. All I’ve seen and all I’ve had are the, so that’s really all I can speak to.
But if the burgers are anything like the donuts, they’re going to be delicious. The donuts are truly wonderful. They are made in one of those little machines that auto flips. The donuts like you see at a farmers market. So they’re really oily and really delicious!
I’m not sure, but I think they’re only open during the Montclair flea that happens on Saturdays and Sundays. I’m sure they’ll have regular weekly store hours once them all is really up and running. I’ll try to update this review when that happens.
