Burgers Blues Barbecue was founded in 2010, with the idea of offering great food, a fun atmosphere, and a place for families to relax and enjoy. Try our hand-made burgers, barbecue, blue plate specials, and even breakfast (Mon-Sat at Madison location, as well as our Flowood location). Our Brandon location has a large outdoor patio, where you can enjoy LIVE MUSIC every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. We offer dine-in, carryout, and even delivery. Me and a friend went here on March 3rd and as he put it “we went for the burgers and left with the blues”. The staff was all very nice and the place was very clean. We were pretty much the only ones there (so not crowded or loud). The problem was the food. We both got different things but we both agreed it was awful. The best thing we got was the cheese sticks and the fries were OK (you will need a condiment/the fries are not seasoned enough to stand on their own). If I was just grading cleanliness and how great the staff was then 5 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately the food quality makes me give it a 1 star and we won’t be returning anytime soon.

Ate here last night. Great burgers but we were thrilled to know they have a dedicated deep fryer for fries. Our son has celiac and he never gets to eat his fav food (fries) except at CFA, so we were so excited he could eat them safely here too. Burgers are great with gluten free buns. Also great service!

Second, those were the best onion rings I’ve ever had. The fried pickles were great too. Our burgers were very good.

My first time at this location and it was really good. We started off with the brisket nachos which were great and i Got the smokehouse burger which I enjoyed. I ordered extra barbecue sauce because I thought it needed a little more. The people who were with me both got the blue cheese burger and they said it could have used a little more blue cheese sauce. I tried a bite of it and it was a little dry. Overall it was good but it is a little pricey. After tax and tip your going to be spending around $20 for a burger fries and a drink.

Red beans and rice was sweet, like with added sugar (what/who’s receipe is that?). Inedible. The bowl burger over salad was made with refrigerated meat. Manager said that is how it’s done. “It’s a salad.” Mine was good see pic below. Other hamburgers were satisfactory. No one was thrilled or wowed at the service. I had to ask for silverware for my blue plate special. Order taker was rude to me when asking, like I was interrupting her. Bad attitude employee. Food took too long to process. Lunchtime was steady, so they wouldn’t be able to handle busy. Won’t be coming back.
I have a standard of not posting anything but 5 star reviews, but my appeal to management got rebuffed. So, they got what they deserved, a bad review, no tip, and a loss of future business.

We stopped in on our way home (out of state) the service, food, and prices were perfect. I have dietary restrictions and they are accommodating. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and fresh. This was the best meal I’ve had in a while. I wish there was a Burgers Blues near me.
I will definitely stop here again.

It was my first visit to this restaurant. I had an excellent smash burger on Texas toast with fried green tomatoes. Staff was friendly and food was served quickly. I will definitely make a return visit.
