Made the mistake of only looking at the average rating and number of ratings. Trust the bad ratings.

Came here on my last night in New York because I wanted to support a small local business and it looked cute so why not. As soon as you step in it doesn’t smell like a burger shop this small should. You’ll smell more incense than necessary. Should’ve been the first sign. Then you look at the menu and the prices are a bit on the high side, but hey the pictures look good! Then you don’t notice the sign that they auto charge 15% gratuity if you dine in, no matter – it’s your fault for not noticing and hey you’re on a trip and best to pass on the generosity.

Then the food arrives. The guy who took your order brings it out. All the food is on a red tray. You’re sitting solo. The restaurant is deserted. You’re the only one there. The nice man who took your order slowly takes each individual piece of food you order and takes it out of the tray (burger and fries in a fries container) and places it infront of you. Same with the coleslaw. Hell why not just leave the tray?? It adds to the charm.

Then you bite into it because it looks ok. The bun is off, the meat tastes like it’s been cooked in days old oil and grease. The beef bacon isn’t crisp for a $14 dollar burger. You look at the fries and they are hella crusty. You take a bite of them and decide not to touch them again. You look for hope.

Somewhere out of the corner of your eye you remember the Cole slaw. It doesn’t inspire hope. Yet you open it out of the single user Tupperware box it came out of. You take a bite. It’s the only saving grace. After having spent $24 here for the burger, the “super deal” of fries, coke, and coleslaw, you decide to take a few more bites of the burger. It doesn’t taste any better.

At least the Sunkist orange is reliable. You finish the Cole slaw because it’s the most edible thing remaining. Every bite you take of the burger you feel sicker. You leave the fries alone.

And then you’re here, at my stage. Writing this review. To warn people to literally go anywhere else. Save yourself. Save yourself…

This was probably the most disgusting burger and fries I’ve ever had. I asked for a medium-rare burger, but they brought me an undercooked one with the cheapest ground meat full of gristle. The fries were overcooked, they were like dry crackers, and the onion rings were in a sweet batter. We paid $70 for this, and it’s incredibly frustrating because I didn’t even eat the burger. Think twice before going there; I usually try to be understanding and don’t write reviews, but this was absolutely terrible.

The burgers are made fresh and are seriously big and filling compared to other places. The combo with fries and a drink is an amazing deal. Definitely a must-try – awesome spot!

Came in from Chicago and it’s my last day here. Wanted to grab something quick and small and this place knocked it out of the park! Nuggets and fries are amazing as are the poutine and mozzarella sticks!! Crispy and fresh. The staff was also very nice when I spoke with them for my pick up. Will definitely go back next time I stay in New York :3

This is probably one of the best halal burger places my husband and I have ever been to. We ate here a few times during our trip to NYC. I really liked the Pasta and Mozzarella strips, but my husband really liked the Basic Beef Burger, and their Burger World Special. The food is reasonably-priced, and the restaurant is really close to times square, and deliver, if you’re close. Highly recommend.

Amazing Burger and Fries!

I tried Burger World in Manhattan, and it was fantastic! The burger was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and packed with fresh ingredients. You can really taste the quality in every bite! The French fries were just as impressive—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned.

The place was clean, the staff were friendly, and service was quick. Definitely one of the best burger spots in NYC!

And a small but cousy place to eat but delicious! Great attention all the time. The chicken fingers are the greatest and the burgers don’t’ get too far . You can ask for a combo a share the fries, we asked for two and the 4 of us ate enough of them. It was near to our hotel.

Pricey and not that great. My son and I tried this place. We ordered two plain cheese burgers (well done) and the fried mozzarella slices. We actually got cheese sticks, which were fine, but not what was described or pictured.
Both of our burgers came, cooked to medium, and with everything on them. I scraped mine off, but my son wouldn’t eat his, so I kindly asked for a plain cheese burger.
We got the same burger and bun, but with the toppings scraped off. I went back up and clarified a plain cheeseburger. Plain bun, beef patty, and cheese.
It came back with a new bun, and a new slice of cheese (original patty with ketchup, mayo, and pickle remnants).
I finished most of mine, and then we went somewhere else.
I feel like anywhere else would have apologized and made a brand new burger the 1st time.

A modest cafe with a modest interior. But the burger was delicious , fresh , and the coffee was excellent. Large selection of hamburgers on the menu. Halal meat. There are also desserts, cakes and cheesecakes. The service is excellent, very polite. I liked everything.

Original review Sept 2022: Delicious burgers, much much better than any burgers of the big chains. Prepared on the spot fresh, but it is worth the wait
