I got the falafel burger garden grub style, and I was super happy with it. The falafel patty was delicious with an excellent texture, and I really liked the sautéed mushrooms and onions. My sister got a bison burger and enjoyed it too. When we were ordering, my sister asked about the portions of the size, the waitress advised us that we should each get our own. I wasn’t super hungry, so I did not order anything and my sister got the onion rings. The waitress was helpful in pointing out that they contain dairy, noticing I’d ordered vegan. The portion of onion rings that came was huge — which is great in terms of value, but definitely too big for one person, so we were glad we didn’t get 2 sided, but in hindsight would have gotten “frings” (half onion rings, half fries) instead.
While the food was great, the service was not. Maybe we just came at a weird time because there quite a lot of takeout orders getting handled, but none of the waitstaff was really checking on their tables (and there were 3 of them and only 3 occupied tables). We had to waive the staff over to place our order initially, and the staff didn’t seem to know who was supposed to be working our table. After the food was delivered, no one ever came by to check in on us, and I ended up walking to the counter to pay the bill after failing to get anyone’s attention for a few minutes.
The burger was made on the grill so I had a light char on it. I really liked it. I had brioche bread which I thought was a little firmer than I like. I like a soft, fluffy bread. The Impossible Burger had a multigrain bun. One order of fries was enough for three people and the onion rings were huge. I could have used an onion ring as a bracelet and still have room
Three burgers (without any extra toppings), fries, onion rings and three drinks came to $70, if that helps give anyone a barometer of price
And yes, you read correctly, I went to burger joint NOT to eat meat
We’ve ordered 5x plates + extras and we got everything under 12 mins.
Loved the onion ring better than the fries but it comes in a lower quantity
Enjoy!
Parking: The parking lot is spacious, fitting plenty of cars, so finding a spot was no trouble at all.
Atmosphere: The staff was friendly and super helpful when It came to helping me find the right choice to make,. There’s a bar area if you’re looking to enjoy a drink, as well as seated tables for a more relaxed dining experience.
Service: My food came out surprisingly fast—only about 15 minutes. It was packaged well. When I got back home to the south shore, the food didn’t necessarily keep its warmness, but It was still warm enough to not have to reheat.
Food: I ordered the Impossible Burger, and it did not disappoint. It tasted just like a real burger. As i’m writing this, i just realized there wasn’t even cheese on it… which says a lot. The chipotle ketchup that came with the sandwich was pretty good; it paired perfectly with the burger. I also recommend using it as a dip for the fries as well.
I’m definitely looking forward to returning and trying more of the items on their menu.
