I had a wonderful experience at Burger Theory thanks to Madi. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and truly skilled at making great drinks. Her ability to balance excellent customer service with perfectly crafted cocktails made the experience even better. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in her work. I’ll definitely be back and hope to be served by her again!
When we were there, there was only one person working. Literally doing everything. I don’t care how talented you are, that’s a lot to ask of one person.
Due to this, it took forever for us to even get menus, let alone our order taken.
We ordered some drinks (no strong ones as the liquor license hadn’t cleared yet), an appetizer, and a couple burgers.
Due to our man being overwhelmed with handling every task we never got the appetizer. But it also wasn’t on the bill. So, I’ll call that a wash.
The presentation of the food was great. It did look like our man knew his way around the cooking and plating food. Oh, and the burgers were ordered medium rare, and they were cooked PERFECTLY. I mean, even my friend found this to be super impressive. I don’t think I’ve had a burger cooked this well in a long time.
Unfortunately, my patty had kind of an odd consistency. Like it had been previously frozen. Perhaps it was. But I’m not sure I can blame the chef for this. But damn did he do the best with what he had to work with.
I’m planning on going back after they get their legs under them and hopefully I can give this place another star or two.
Obviously your mileage may vary. But I wouldn’t skip this place just because it’s in the lobby of a hotel.
I gave it a try, and the service was great. Our food came out quickly, and the server actually placed the burgers down backwards. We didn’t notice until we both took a bite, so we informed them and they didn’t hesitate to remake them.
They also boxed up the old burgers and sent us home with them so the food didn’t have to go to waste!
The burger itself was decent. It was on the greasy side, but it was flavorful. The fries were very well seasoned.
The atmosphere of the restaurant left a lot to be desired. It feels like more of a counter service restaurant. There’s not much decor or anything happening.
The pricing was very reasonable especially considering this is a hotel restaurant. As far as hotel restaurants go, this place is phenomenal. I would be thrilled to come across this in a hotel when traveling.
However, as a local, I feel you can get better dining experiences with at restaurants like Burger Republic or M.L. Rose for a similar cost.
If you’re staying at this hotel, this is a great restaurant. If you’re just curious about the restaurant and you live here, I would go elsewhere.
This is a “restaurant” that is in the lobby of a hotel, very little separation from guests checking in and the bar. Personally, I’m not a fan of going to a hotel to eat or drink unless it is truly a separate entity or I am staying there.
Both nights were not busy at all, and had at least two people working there. Bartender and chef. I had excellent, quick and attentive service. As well as good food for what i ordered.
First night, got the shrimp app plate and then the steak salad.
The shrimp were large and cooked very well. Medium rare for the salad was pretty close, good mixed greens with spinach and others. Slight onion, tomatoes and was pretty good. No complaints.
Second night, got the fish and onion rings and again, not disappointed at all.
Breakfast burrito, not too bad
There were several employees in uniform and a less than half full bar/restaurant.
The female bartender was rude/aloof took forever to come over because she was “talking “ to various male patrons.
When she did, she literally walked off during our order and did not return
When we ordered from a second employee and waited and waited
Our drink orders were never started so we left
Don’t waste your time unless you’re a guy
They like to serve men
Hard pass
