Eclectic, slightly chintzy spot with a ton of decorating paraphernalia but also solid food. It has been a long time since I had a M/R burger that was perfectly cooked and you could taste the grill in the best way possible. As you can see I couldn’t finish, and I apologize for not getting a before picture, but it smelled too god to wait. Fries were decent, not amazing and the sante fe sauce that came with meal was Smokey creamy perfection. Give this place a chance and stop in. ❤️

First time here, nice selection of burgers, i went with the French Onion & Swiss, with mushrooms & onions, great choice. Admittedly one of the top burgers I’ve had. Burger Tavern 77 was a mixture of good and alright.
The ambiance and atmosphere were relatively cool. It was basically your average burger joint with a splash of personality mixed in.
The wait staff was very kind but also inattentive. I don’t think it was their fault personally; I just think that they were understaffed. Nevertheless, it would have been nice to have been seated a little bit quicker and to have been checked on a little less sporadically.
As for the food and drink, it was pretty average. I got the chicken tenders and fries, which were fine but not notable in any way. In addition, I was not particularly impressed with their selection of seltzers, which was sorely lacking.
All in all, Burger Tavern 77 was a pretty basic burger joint, with some good and some bad mixed together. I wouldn’t be averse to returning in the future, but it wouldn’t be at the top of my list either.

We were next door getting cinnamon rolls from Devine cinnamon roll deli and was smacked by the smell of delicious burgers. So we stopped inside and we were amazed. John was our waiter and he was amazing. He great service and welcoming vibe was the cherry on top to an awesome meal. We will definitely return again.

I get it the price is the price however for what I ordered it should not have been $17.03. I ordered The Memphis instead of meat I ordered it with the black bean burger no bread and pasta salad. I may would have come out cheaper doing a build a burger. I could have gotten a salad elsewhere and been full for wayyyyyyyy less. FYI, if you use a card they charge you to use it so I suggest cash.

I got the peanut butter bacon burger. It was pretty good. The best part was the bacon. Fries were decent. We also got the pretzel appetizer which was pretty good.
On a Saturday evening at 1700 it wasn’t busy at all. Swinging back by 1830 it looked like a good crowd had gathered.

Ashlyn was the bartender for our first visit here and she was AMAZING. I can’t say enough amazing things about how she impacted our dining experience. She took care of all her tables and was extremely personable and made great recommendations. Yes the food and drinks are amazing but with a staff like this, I will be recommending this place to everyone. She made our experience!

Burger Tavern 77 surprised me! It is often the case that a place calls itself a burger place, tavern, shack, etc., and they only disappoint with a lack of flavor and presentation. This was NOT what happened today! The Tavern has a great vibe from the moment you open the door and walk, to the moment you leave. With separate dining space, the experience isn’t loud or crowded. It is comfortable and very well lit. The bar in the back look really cool, like it was made to be featured in a bar-themed show on TV.
Now, for the food. I ordered the French Onion Soup Burger, and it was awesome! It was cooked exactly like I ordered it. The burger, bun, veggies, and fries were all perfectly made! I can’t wait to come back again and try a different burger. Maybe The Charleston!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. The chef WALKED OUT long before closing leaving the rest of the staff scrambling to complete orders. Wait time exceeded an hour and we ended up leaving. Wait staff handled the situation with impressive grace and was beyond courteous to us for the extent of our stay. If you ask me the owner should FIRE those responsible.

The Good: Ambiance and music selection were great. Seats at the bar were padded and comfortable. Beers were cold and there was plenty of booze in the mixed drinks. Alcohol was affordable.
The Bad: Got chilli that tasted ok but was just this side of warm. Burgers were ordered medium (they asked) and were delivered very well done. Onion soup burger had no onions as far as I could tell. Service was friendly but distracted as they spent the majority of their time with friends. It was a Monday night, so maybe we got the back up cook.
Final result: Would definitely hang here for drinks and watch the game. Would stick with light food like fries or orings.
