Si happy to have stumbled upon this family owned Burger-Shake place!!
As soon as customers walk in they are greeted by name. The friendly hostess/server was so so friendly. I just loved the vibes she gave.
We shared the 2 egg breakfast. The grits are not home made,but dang, they were tasty! The bacon was yummy and the biscuit was divine. Oh yes, the sweet tea was just right.

Broasted chicken is crispy and juicy. Black eyes peas in a creamy bacon sauce grandma would be proud to put out and call her own. Good ol’ stewed tomatoes, onions, and okra for the vegetarian in the group. Sandwiches loaded with homestyle meats and fixins. Sodas and shakes served in cups as big as you wanted when you were 6 and couldn’t get enough. Great stop on the way from Atlanta to a weekend wine tasting or kayak run. Get there early. They serve breakfast and lunch and are typically closed by 3.

Great food and service. Was not sure what to do and how to order our first time in. They have a small buffet like a cafeteria style place you can order from at the counter or you can have a seat at a table and the wait staff will take your order. My wife had the Philly cheese steak and said it was the best she had ever had. I had the burger and it was pretty good as well.

Probably the best chicken biscuit I’ve ever had! Crunchy, crispy batter and melt in your mouth biscuit. I’m glad I went to the drive-thru it I probably would’ve eaten five more! I also ordered a side of hash rounds, which I thought were a little pricey, until I realized the order was enough for 2 or 3 people. Perfectly fried, golden brown and hot. It’s 4 AM as I write this and I’m ready to go back NOW!
Definitely going back to try other breakfast and lunch items.

I do not usually give bad reviews but the food here was not good at all. I got hamburger and hot dog the hot dog my grandson would not eat i tasted it tasted like a Vienna sausage hot disgusting. The burger was cold and had no flavor. Used to love to eat here but will never eat here again !

Top shelf,service and could not be any better. Not sure if I like the looks of some of those men sitting at the big “liars” table in the mornings,especially that one goofy looking one,you know the one I’m talking about, yeah. Overall excellent dining expirence. I highly recommend this place

My great grandparents built this place and worked very hard for many years to build it up. It has changed from many different names but ended up back the same after they sold it. Great food if they didnt have such trash working there. I’m not sure what happened from a few months ago to today, but today’s staff needs to go.
