Burger Queen is a welcome addition to South Yarmouth located in an the old D’Angelos headed east on 28 towards Dennis. The restaurant is a throwback to an era of burger shacks and drive-ins with walls covered in nostalgic memorabilia.
The menu is all business with a couple of options for burgers and hot dogs, hand cut fries and milk shakes. They offer a vegan option as well as a couple other sandwiches like shaved steak and pulled pork.
This being my first visit I went for “The Queen” and added bacon and cheddar for an upcharge and a order of hand cut french fries. Everything was delicious. The hamburger was cooked perfectly, had fresh veggies and the bun was perfect and didn’t fall apart as you ate. The fries were so good, cooked and salted perfectly.
You can’t order ahead and everything is cooked to order so in the busy summer months I would be prepared to wait. But it will be worth it!

The burgers and fries are really good. People at the window were friendly. It’s hard to find a place that does good gluten free burgers, theirs was really good! Also placed in separate containers and bags. The restaurant is a cool setting but the small food window makes it feel like it’s set in a bad part of a city. Small window that they keep closed. All in all I recommend trying this place.

So happy we found this spot! My burger was absolutely perfect juicy patty, fresh veggies, and that Queen sauce OMg delicious. The fries were amazing too, crispy and full of flavor.
The place itself is so fun and full of character, it’s like stepping into a nostalgic time capsule that just makes you smile.
We even got to meet Anthony, who was super friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu! ✨

Small-scale diner with extreme retro styling. Food was delicious and the staff were very kind. Easy recommendation.

Tried Burger Queen for the first time. Went with the Dutchess. Thought it was a very good burger overall. Cooked well. Came out quick. Fries were good as well.

We used to eat at their Provincetown location and the new Yarmouth location is just as good! Delicious burgers, waffle fries were crispy and seasoned well and the atmosphere was nostalgic. Will be back for sure!

Been wanting to try for a while and today was the day. Had a Boursin burger it was delicious. And hotdog with onions. Everything was fresh and fast only took about 8 min. Place was clean and inviting burger spot.

I’m leaving 5 stars because i want this burger joint to improve. The burger was just so-so. It was very much overdone (no juice at all) and the patty was pretty thin. But I guess this is how they make their burgers, I guess its sort of a smash burger and smash burgers are known for being smashed thin and cooked all the way thru. But this was just OK. The smash burgers i’ve had were double up on the patties, with two slices of cheese. I’m not sure how they can improve it. Maybe make the burger patty thicker and charge more. The burger i had was a thin patty and lots of bread. Maybe two patties with cheese in between woudl improve it. And i ordered teh duchess and it was way too sweet but i should have read the menu better. And ill order a different burger and see if that makes a difference. I’ll try it again and if it improves, I will edit this review.

Place sucks. Staff are slow for an empty restaurant. There’s no heat in the dining room. The egg they use in the burgers is from a box. Burger was a sloppy mess. Way too much mayo and ketchup. 20 bucks for a garbage, thin burger. Will never return
