We wanted to try this place since it’s new in the neighborhood and saw they have $10 burgers on Thursday’s. When we walked in the bus boy greeted us and said sit anywhere we want. We received our waters right away but it took a few minutes for our waitress to come over and there was only 1 other table with 1 person/2 waitresses. We got appetizers first- carne asada fries, lemon pepper wings and the elote ribs ($12 for a corn on the cob cut into quarters w some hot Cheetos on it). Despite the high prices for appetizers, all were amazing, my favorite were the wings, crispy and flavorful. 4 of us all got a different burger ($10 on Thursday) and then the 1lb skirt steak. All the food was amazing- compliments to the chef! The 1lb skirt steak a bit overpriced for $29. The bus boy came to our table more than our waitress did. I was thinking thank goodness we didn’t get the shorter waitress because I was watching her with her table and she never broke a smile and the look she had was that she didn’t want to be there. The vibe was great, good music and chill. The service here by the waitresses along with the downtown priced drinks/appetizers may be the reason this place is not as packed as it should be. $4 for a can of pop $17 for Hennessy w/ redbull, $12 for a very small margarita. I’m not sure how long they will last if the business to operates like this but we will see. They have half price appetizers 9-11pm which is a little late for us but maybe one day we will try them again.

I honestly didn’t expect this place to have a crowd since I’d never heard of it before, and we went about an hour after opening, but there were already people at the bar having fun and enjoying watching sports.
When we first walked in, the waitress greeted us so kindly. She was warm, welcoming, and immediately gave me a positive vibe about the place. Her excellent customer service continued throughout our whole visit, which made the experience even better. Her name starts with an M.
The atmosphere was great, with TVs for watching sports and two separate dining areas. You can sit in the open area near the bar if you like the energy, or choose the cozier section with booths for a more private vibe.
I had the pozole verde, which was listed as a side but felt more like a full entrée. It was sooo delicious, spicy, flavorful, and a generous portion you can share (or not!). I ate half and took the rest home, and when I woke up the next morning, my sinuses were the clearest they’ve ever been. I’d been feeling sick for a few days, but I actually woke up feeling better!
The carne asada fries were another hit, tender, perfectly seasoned meat with cheese and guacamole. It’s a generous portion, perfect for sharing. The strawberry agua fresca was super tasty and came in a cute cup with chamoy and tajín on the rim.
They were also playing some great ’90s freestyle music, which made the whole experience even better. This place has great food, good energy, and an overall fun vibe. I’m so glad I found it, and I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

It’s definitely a sports with amazing food. The service was very pleasant. The food was fantastic. We were craving wings and burgers. This place is not on Yelp yet so we only read reviews from Google. The burgers was delicious lot of flavor and the wings were crispy, tender and big. The sauces were very fresh and delicious. The upgrade to sweet potatoes were worth it. The vibe is more for friends they were playing very good music.

Went with some friends over last summer and had a blast. I absolutely loved the agua frescas, the aguachile negros, the shrimp and wings in “papi sauce”, the poblano Mac & cheese, the shrimp po boy, and the pozole verde is the best in the city !

We were looking for a place for happy hour and found Burger Papi with $8 Agua Fresca Margaritas (Friday’s Only). We sat at the bar where the bartender Felipe did great. Although he was the only server at the time, he managed to take care of both the bar seaters and dinning area. Drinks were great food was amazing! I’d be back to try more from their menu!

i had the chilaquiles burger and sweet potato , now the burger did not taste or had chilaquiles its was overwhelming , maybe call a chorizo burger instead it taste more like that. now the sushi rool was not really rolled its was falling apart , putting all the sauce and hot chettos doesnt really go with it the flavors were off i know gordan ramsey wouldnt approve the japenesse would be pissed off an disrespected . now my drink the mint was rotten its best if you have them fresh gives it a good outstand and good taste , the only thing i really love was the flower and the glass of water. but i thank you for food service

Very good food, great atmosphere my husband got the prepared oysters and he said they were delicious. We also got the steak nachos very delicious the burgers and chicken sandwich were also a 10/10 and wings were also so good highly recommend definitely will be going back.

Went 3 times in the past week before writing my 1st review. It’s addictive. The FOOD is “Lord have mercy on my belly”! From the buttery lamb chops, the fried shrimp, the burgers and fries, the new oysters on the menu (tried them last night) chicken sandwich, shrimp ceviche! ALL were hands down PHENOMENAL! Kudos to the Chef and the great staff! If you’re looking for a place you can actually sit and converse over great food and stylish vibe, this is definitely the place. You can tell the owner put his soul into this place and developed a menu you’re sure to LOVE!

We order nachos with carne asada, carne asada tacos, breaded shrimp with buffalo on the side, oysters, and wings. THIS WAS some of the best carne asada I have had. The oysters preparados were so fresh. The customer service was amazing. The chef came out with our food. Everything was a 10/10 try the wings with the papi sauce
