We were hungry and tired. We had no idea where to eat after off ramp in Van Nuys.
Of course we asked SIRI for hamburgers in Van Nuys.
Luckily we spotted Burger Lounge before reaching her suggestion.
Wow. Grass fed beef and a cheerful server, Joshua who was happy to assure we could get out burgers grilled with no seed oils.
They were exceptional!
Now this will be a destination.

I’ve been to a few burger lounges around LA now and it’s always been really solid. Id say it falls into a category a cut above In-N-Out with a wider variety of flavors and a step down in price from the (inferior) five guys.
I usually order the lounge burger as is, but sometimes the western style or blue cheese burger. The meat to topping ratio is good and the buns are squishy but firm. Their barbecue sauce is something special with a heavy smoky chipotle/hickory flavor. Their fries are fine, hot and crispy, and the batch sodas are another less common touch (great ginger beer and Shirley temple).
The manager at this location seemed very involved and attentive to making things move smoothly and provide a good experience (Dec. 7th ~6:00p). Nice guy.
There’s probably a burger lounge near you and they’re probably not going to let you down in flavor and price.

This place is really cool. My friend chose it, so I didn’t know what to expect. Upon arrival, I noticed they have “any gender” restrooms, which was a nice touch.
I ordered the California Lounge, which was a massive burger! I added a side of “half-and-half,” combining onion rings and french fries. Although the fries were a bit soggy for my taste, I still enjoyed every bite.
I also had a Mexican Coke on ice, though it’s not pictured. Overall, everything was great. I appreciated the family-friendly atmosphere and the welcoming decor.

Disgusting food. I ordered Uber eats so I know it’s not going to be super fresh, but the food was AWFUL. I paid $11 for 3 chicken tenders that were old and crunchy tasting. Burger kings $1 chicken nuggets taste better. Burger was cold and average. Fries were limp and cold.

One of the freshest tasting burgers in the valley. They say the meat is grass fed with no hormones or antibiotics, and YES you can taste it! The taste is just clean and fresh. You can customize it however you like. The fried chicken sandwich is delicious as well. The turkey is just as fresh and clean, and a hint of basil for that next level taste. The fries are good too. Nice and crispy outside, with a soft potato inside. The batch craft soda options are a nice touch as well. They are made with cane sugar, so it is the better option in comparison to other sodas. The restaurant itself is nice and clean. There’s a television which usually shows sports. They also sell beer here! A great burger spot. A must visit if in the area.

I really like this place but something was missing in the seasoning department. Like the burger tasted good and the ingredients were good. It just tasted as if the burger was patted out and grilled without being seasoned. (I have no idea if this is the case or not). But other than that it was really good. If anything, that might mean this is just a tad bit healthier than what one would think. The fries and onion rings were great and not too greasy. It’s definitely worth trying.
