Update:
After writing the below review, some folks in our party went to go get soft serve cones. There was a little one who wanted a cone too, but the cones are super tall (great value at $1.89 & no tax). The very sweet girl at the register suddenly also gave the little one a small cup to put the cone excess in so he didn’t lose his ice cream to gravity/being a little guy who doesn’t eat so fast.
What customer service! Winner winner winner! Up a star for the awesome service. Thank you, Hickam BK!

Idk why other reviewers had any problems. We’ve been coming here for years, and have never experienced what they’re talking about. Order has never been messed up. Decent temperatures, comfortable. Most fast food joints are either freezing cold or there is no temperature control it all. This is comfortable, civilized.
Can substitute a side salad for fries in the value meal. Side salad is substantial, lots of shredded cheese and very nice tomato slices. No additional cost to substitute a healthy option. Love that!
Food is consistent, well cooked. Clean. Decent presentation.
Convenient hours. Open 7 days a week.
Flat screen TV on wall. Usually tuned to a sports network, or a news channel.
Bathrooms on site.
Coke products (Coke Zero, etc.) on free refillable fountain with many selections.
Drive through is located in a good shape & location, unlike some other fast food places that have a very sharp turn.
Recommend. Down a half star for it being on a closed post, but a military ID is not needed to purchase anything here. Only to get on Hickam , you’ll need either a military ID, or a federal government ID. If you’re a contractor, active duty, or a reservist, or have friends who are, you’re fine.
Very family-friendly. Like this BK. Recommend.

I came all this way on foot on Superbowl Sunday to try out an advertised 3 for $7 special. Sadly, they weren’t open as the times suggested. I guess back to McDonald’s it is. At least they are serving Happy Meals with Pokémon cards in them.

Unable to use the excellent Burger King app at this location. There is a value menu, but the display screen rotates, so it’s not always visible. Was this done purposely to increase profits? Prices are sky high compared to other U.S. BK locations. Very nice and clean location, but with the high prices it is not recommended.

I’ll never come back to this Burger King again. We were pretty hungry after taking my kids to the park. It took about 5 mins for my payment to go through because the internet. That’s understandable. We get our food and I always check my order before leaving any fast food place. We’re missing bbq sauce for 3 chicken fries. We ask for bbq sauce and we get 2. Good thing I checked! So we leave and I’m now handing out food.. all of the food was cold. The fries were old and gross. It’s very upsetting because I $60 for old and cold food. Do yourself a favor and don’t come here.

Got my order in at the drive thru, they repeated it back to me, and yet I still didn’t get my full order. I ordered a grand total of 1 meal, 1 kids meal, and a wrap, all with no crazy modifications or anything.
Didn’t get the kid’s meal drink, didn’t get the wrap, but I got it fast. Definitely have to slow down to make sure the order is right before handing it out the window, that sucks to find out you’re missing stuff when you get home.
I now have to be that jerk who sits there and holds-up the line while I count & check every item that I ordered to make sure it’s all there because I can’t trust Burger King to get it right.

I was greeted with “You Rule” at the drive-through on Hickam AFB but was treated just the opposite. While I was ordering the girl kept talking to someone else inside the store and then coming back to me. At first I thought she was talking to the car at the other window but I realized she was telling someone inside the store “I’ll see you at the…”. I had to keep saying “Hello?” three times and each time I tried to restart the order she would start talking to someone else in the store again. After the fourth time I told her “It sounds like you’re too busy for me” and left. I felt very disrespected and will not be returning to this Burger King.

I’m not sure what bad service people are getting here but I don’t really believe it. I’ve been here quiet a lot but I’ve never really had a problem. I’m sure mistakes have been made but don’t let that sour your opinion.
My only real problem with the place is sometimes the bathroom is a little nasty. You’ll have a nice clean dining area but yeah, they need to work on that bathroom.

This Burger King is a fairly reasonable representation of just about any other Burger King, if you’re familiar with the chain, so I won’t waste your time with a description of the variety or quality of food. Instead, allow me to tell you what sets this BK apart from others that I’ve visited over the past several years. First of all, the service is generally quick and friendly. There’s always a friendly smile, and often a bit of friendly chatter, and agreeable response to any comments and suggestions.
This does bring me to my only recent suggestion for the place: Please re- replace the breakfast orange juice. The new cartons of orange juice may be easier to handle than the old fountain OJ, but it’s just horrible tasting. If you insist on pre-packaged cartons, please select something that tastes good, not just the cheapest juice cartons available. Thanks!

I ordered a whopper. Old Lukewarm meat that was not the normal size for a whopper paddy. Bun didn’t have sesame seeds on the roof. Fries were fresh. The family was very disappointed overall. I’ve worked in food service before and would have been embarrassed to present what I was served, to a customer.

This Burger King located on Hickam AFB is in a great location close to the exchange, commissary, library, and post office. There is always ample parking. Staff have always been cheerful and helpful, never a problem with orders. The interior of the restaurant is always spotlessly clean. Service is fast. Best fast food on the base when it comes to grabbing a Berger and a soft drink. Berger King serves coke products which I am a fan of.
