I just watched a customer get very disrespected, he had to go over the top to get hot food and the workers didn’t really care. It took him over 15 minutes just to get a damn meal that he paid for. While he was waiting. Another customer came by and harassed him for demanding too much. I used to be a restaurant manager, if the food is not hot and fresh, it needs to be replaced immediately. No questions. These people were just sitting around making a joke.

An older lady with cleaning tables comes by and disrupts people while in the middle of their meal. She came by to my table and complained about this gentleman complaining about cold food. She thought it was ridiculous if he would make a fuss about it. Then she proceeded to clean the chair with the broom that she sweeped the floor with in front of me while I’m eating. Someone needs to fire the manager here.

Burger King has always been my go-to meal before boarding a flight. I love the consistency—the food is tasty, familiar, reasonably priced, and usually served up quickly no matter where I am in the world. That’s why I was a bit surprised by my experience at the Burger King located in Terminal 2 of the Honolulu Airport in Hawaii.

The restaurant itself is quite spacious, and it clearly draws a crowd. However, the service was unusually slow for a fast food chain that I’ve come to rely on for quick and easy meals during travel. The main issue seemed to be staffing. There were only three elderly women running the entire operation—taking orders, preparing the food, packaging it, and calling out numbers one by one. It was obvious they were doing their best, but they were clearly overworked and exhausted trying to handle the rush.

As I waited quite a while for my order, I overheard several other customers commenting on how unusually long the wait times were. It’s not something I’ve experienced at any other Burger King location.

I’d really encourage the management at this particular branch to consider bringing in a few more staff members—just two or three extra people could make a big difference, both for the team working so hard and for the many travelers who stop by expecting the usual speedy service.

Amazing lady at this Burger King! I was having a hard time at the Starbucks nearby because they didn’t know how to process my voucher. The lady here was so kind—she didn’t just tell me what to do, she actually walked over to Starbucks to teach their staff. Thank you for being so helpful and going the extra mile!

Food was terrible for me. Chicken wasn’t microwaved all the way or something as it tasted like rubber/half cooked. I wasted it and left still hungry after paying $26 for a meal. My friends ate whoppers and the beef was fine. Staff is nice and tentative. I feel like I got robbed with a smile.

We got some takeaways burgers here. Though little expensive, they are delicious. We enjoyed our food. The service was great and the staff were professional. A little suggestion to the staff, your google page says your usual closing time is 8pm on Wednesdays but we bought our food at 8:36pm. I don’t know if it’s a mistake or overtime work but I suggest you guys should take a look.

(Please note the 4 stars is for the fast food restaurant category only – NOT suggesting that this could be compared to a regular 4 star restaurant). That being said, for a Burger King, this was really good – we were pleasantly surprised! The ordering computers were working, our food was hot and fresh. I even got 4 or 5 pickles on my Whopper jr which is unusual. Wonder if it is under new management because this was WAY better than the last time we stopped here a couple of years ago.

This airport has notoriously bad food options, especially when factoring in the price. So I graded this on a curve. Yes, spending 20+ dollars at Burger King sucks obviously. But my burger was great; fresh ingredients, hot, fresh, and very filling. And you can’t beat that view of the cultural garden. So in short, gotta give them an A+ even though it sucks because the rest of the class is failing much harder.

This was horrible. Service was extremely rude and slow. Burger was like a pile of oil. Said we could not order breakfast but that’s all the kiosks had for options. Couldn’t order at a cashier and if you asked a worker a question they would ignore you or snap at you. Didn’t offer straws or lids for fountain drinks. Everyone was yelling at each other in the kitchen. EXTREMELY OVERPRICED.I get that this is a fast food restaurant but you may aswell just go eat dirt then eat here.

Not sure why there’s such bad reviews. Yes it is expensive but it’s a takeaway food business at an airport. It’s expected to be expensive. Ordered two bacon, egg and cheese croissants. The egg was thick and fluffy. The croissant was small but soft. Bacon tasted good. Added some free tomato sauce (available at the counter). Cost us $18.62 USD total.

Was hungry so only took at pic at the end of eating it to show the egg and croissant thickness. Enjoyed it! Plenty of tables / seating around the corner (runway side).

While placing my order, I spoke clearly to the staff member, but they deliberately pretended not to hear me and ignored my questions.
This behavior felt intentional and was very unpleasant.
Regardless of how busy it may be, deliberately ignoring customers is unacceptable.
I strongly hope this location improves staff attitude and customer service training.
